      @@lightrust4680 The point is that there is no mm in 120. There's no correlation between the 120 and the measurement of the film. It's a 60mm film, not 120mm.

    After the loading do you need to take one or two shots blind to make sure the film is winded up correctly to the first frame?

    • @gabrielgomez2483
      @gabrielgomez2483 3 роки тому +3

      No, you will wind until it it stops then you are all set. That's why you like up the start line on the cartridge so the camera will stop winding at exactly the right point to properly expose the roll

  • @LinBenzo
    @LinBenzo 5 років тому +2

    Hi do i roll it until it says 1? Because i put the foll in and shot twice but still says s

    • @Filtergrade
      @Filtergrade  5 років тому +2

      No, you wind the film on the reel until you meet your camera's line indicator with the film strip indicator. Once you line the two up, then re-attach the camera back and wind until you see number #1. If you are seeing the letter 'S' then that means you need to forward the film (crank it forward, until it says 1). Hope this helps

    do i have to buy a prism finder? or does it usually come with it

    • @Filtergrade

      Typically you have to buy a prism finder separately, but it is not a necessity to use the camera.

    • @chloepierson2501

      Different cameras shoot different dimensions on 120 film. This camera only shoots 645. Some cameras have different masks like a holga but most shoot one size.

    i use a afga isola 1, when i opened the pakage of the film roll the film roll sprung out and it was all rolled out ( the film was exposed to light for a time ) is this a problem and is it worth to keep shooting with the camera? or will i get a blank film back when i develope it?

    • @cinematografie22

      i used a 120 mm film btw, from the brand foma.

    • @Filtergrade
      @Filtergrade  3 роки тому

      How long was it exposed for? We've had that happen a few times with just some light leaks, but if it was for more than like 10-20 seconds it will most likely all be blank unfortunately.

    ou should load the film backward like i ( and thousands of others ) did.. then scratch your head when you develop the film only to find clear plastic.. lol.. easily done tho.
