We will wait
Love the work man I feel like finding people who care about history is harder and harder these days.
Sir yes Sir
Noice
Hey man I found a 64 German helmet with a small amount of rust for 285 if’s with a liner is it a good deal also can you make a new room your in a few months
My father joined the US Army in 1943, just after his 18th birthday. While he never served overseas, he had all the equipment. My friends and I played soldier quite often and we all used our fathers' stuff as just about every adult male in the neighborhood had been in one branch of the service or another. I had cartridge belts, helmets, ammo pouches, knapsacks, canteen, cups, you name it. It all got very well used and I don't remember now what happened to it. None of it was around by the time I was a teenager. It's so strange now to see things like that being collected and used at reenactments, when my friends and I thought so little about it. That stuff was just so common. We used WW2 knapsacks to carry our books to school. Of course now I wish I had it all.
Respect for your father!! Yes, this happened a lot.. All these things were used after the war, perfect toys to play with of course! And these days, it's all so valuable.. You wish you could go back in time, and be more careful and keep it all safe.. But that's what you do as a kid, you just play!
My father wasn’t even alive at that time-😶
I'm looking forward to our collab videos in the future Nick! It was amazing meeting you, and thanks for the shoutout too. :)
You are welcome Brulldozer! 😄
You should start uploading on UA-cam brull
Upload to UA-cam. I don’t use those other apps
This is why I love Living History and reenacting. You get to show people how the soldiers were people, and not a number on a page in a book.
Thank you for keeping history alive, and thank you for the 100% historically accurate harmonica playing!
I would really love to go to a reenactment or even be apart of one, but with where i live we do not have very many of them. I love ww2 history and this is a fun way to see it and get a behind the scenes look at it. thanks Nick!
Great video!!!! Like always💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Nick is back in action after going MIA for a bit but luckily he’s back baby Lets go!!!!

When are you going to post the video about the MG 42? Hope you find the people that did it.
I won't let them get away with it!
Ahhh yes, historically accurate heat.. I remember the marches in summer and humidity when I served. Doing what you do shows others what soldiers went through. Wool and canvas and steel on your head. You do it well my friend, I enjoy all of your videos.
Respect for your service! Thank you for watching!! 😄
Im really excited to watch this video😃
Hey , thank you for another enjoyable video of excitement.🇬🇧⚔️
Thank you for watching!

I'm sorry to hear that, hope this makes you feel a bit better!
@@History-Secrets it does for sure

Yes A new video 🎉 !!!!
Sorry Im late i love u man
Late?!! You are damn early!! 😄
I can understand your perspective of a feeling of liberation while you and the other re-enactors were driving around. As am 18-19 yo in the US Army and stationed in Berlin, Germany, on occasion we would go " on alert." Our Company ( 42nd Combat Engineers) would leave our kaserne in the Lichterfelde section and drive through the city to predetermined defensive positions to simulate the start of hostilities between east and west. I use to feel great pride as we rode through the city and little kids would wave pr the elderly would make the sign of the cross as a blessing for us as we passed by. Seeing the elders do that really struck home because they knew and saw and lived through the reason we were stationed there and it was their small way of showing their appreciation.
My great-grandfather was on the line with the 92nd infantry division and served in the battle of the bulge and on the Siegfried line. Thanks for keeping his memory alive!
I am a new reenactor (German 984GR of 275ID, and sometimes 272VGD), long time historian. I had considered reenacting for a while but always talked myself out of it. History Secrets was a big push to get me into reenacting.
My group is preparing for an immersion event November 4-6. It'll be my first true event (before this I have only done two small scale living history events) so I'm watching History Secrets to get me pumped.
Man, you have really been going overtime with the reenactment videos. Keep up the good work, my friend! Have fun for me! Cheers!
Hey man, I was there at the 2nd day and it was absolutely amazing. Nice to see you were there!
Edit 1: I was basically there the same day as you, but i didn't see you. That sucks as i really wanted to make pictures, but happy to see you were there!

@@harpalvirdi1102 I would advise you to save your money, keep saving!! Until you find something you really want. Also, buy smart, buy from known dealers, because you donr want to buy fake things for a big price! Aks for advice before you buy, but again.. Save your money! Not smoking and not drinking already helps a lot! :)
Thank you so much! And I am a 11 year old boy so I wouldn't do those last things
This is great

Als je ooit een film gaat maken ik wil vrijwillig mee doen 😉

I can't explain how much I love all of your videos. I hope you will make more videos(metal detecting, reenactment, spending night in trench...)
I have one question. Will you make more videos on History Secrets Gaming channel. I will like to see more HLL(hell let loose) videos. Please make more HLL videos becouse I love that game but my laptop can't run it. For some reason my friends don't understand what is interesting in history(ww2). I like look of old things(weapons,cars,helmets...)
Thank you for these quality videos!
Nice, also can you like try and expand your trench or somethin i think that would be cool.
Felt sorry for two British soldiers it's really good video mate can't wait for the next video mate 👍🌟

@@History-Secrets your welcome mate your the best

I know it's a long distance for you probably, but if you could make it to the US to visit WWII Weekend/The Reading Airshow in Reading, Pennsylvania, I feel like you would enjoy it. It's a big event that occurs every year usually during the first weekend in June that has reenactments, vendors, encampments, and a bunch of WWII planes flying during the whole weekend.
Great video!
Thank you!!
Good video👍🏻
I love ww2 history
So cool
Great videos...👍👍
