Really nice but you should point out that the hood is not original (no WILLYS stamped into the sides) and it has a CJ3A windshield. That roll bar would bend at the curves around the wheel wells too. Not a great design. A very nice 2A though. I like the red and tan combo and the motor sounds great.
Great little Jeep
Love the Willys Jeep build 👍
Beautiful
Yeah love it, more and more!🤪👍
Heart throb!! IMMENSE.
Base on the equipment shown it is NOT a CJ-2A it’s possible that it’s an early CJ-3A
Nice jeep..😊😎
Cân đối mẫu,xe đẹp tuyệt vời
"I haven't seen one that long in awhile" That's what she said
What did that sell for? Out of curiosity. Very clean.
I'd be interested in buying a cj2a
Hard to test 4 wheel drive in FL.
Great restoration, but this is not a CJ2A. This is a combo of a CJ3B universal and a CJ5.
The dead give away is the windshield. True CJ2A Jeeps are split pane like MBs from the war.
Second is that large metal roll bar in the back. Those were added by Jeep on Vehicles produced under the CJ5 design for safety.
It was very common for people at that time to take spare parts and put those large roll bars for stability on CJ3Bs given the abundance of the material laying around and added Federal And State safety rules which came into effect during the 1950s.
Sadly this amalgamation of the two body types does not increase the value, it decreases it.
Third, True CJ2As canvas tops are slanted down toward the front, this body type and glass sits higher so the canvas top would run flush with the roof line.
Fourth, although the step bar was added on the CJ2A we can conclude that due the above points this is not one.
I would estimate that this jeep was redesigned anywhere between 1950 and 1955 and not 1948.
Nonetheless, a beautiful restoration of 2 different body types.
Is an CJ3A
Where is 2 piece wind shield
Wrong windshield
