Those blasters are beautiful, love the western inspiration, especially those grips. Looks like a hybrid of a Schofield or Lemat revolver. Always loved Cad Bane, great review!
They seem to be based on the Colt 1851 Navy.

THose face sculpts... like yo usaid, absolutely perfect! A little weathering or wrinkling on the coat and hat would have been nice, but I guess that can be left up to the owner. Another great review!

Review was amazing. I went to my local shop to grab black panther, someone got him I was bummed out but saw Cad Bane and Amazing Spiderman. Could only get 1 for now and had to grab the deluxe Cad Bane. Can't wait to get home from work to open

So cool to see this. I was a bit disappointed that his blasters didn't make the same aggressive sound as in the Clone Wars, and it's hard to imagine he got different ones since he was able to easily replace his gear after the Obi-Wan/Rako Hardeen storyline but was still cool. I do like the big Clone Wars hat more though.

Nooooo the foot print base is back!!!!!I just got mine yesterday and i love this figure. The faceplates are fantastic, i hope Hot Toys carries on the idea with future Star Wars releases.Todo is so cool, love him, so well worth going for the deluxe version.BUT, were the hoses connecting to Bane's face more of a metallic, metal finish rather than a more flat black as on the figure? Apart from that a stellar figure, he looks superb on display.

The pistols are based on a colt 1851 revolvers star war blasters are often based on real fire arms, the add scopes and other grebbles to them to make them more sci fi this gives Star Wars weapons a real lived in universe.

Doubt it will ever happen but now that they have made the body I would love if they made a clone wars cad bane, with the big hat, dark blue skin, fingers gloves and the other different parts of his look

I wished we had more expressions with other hot toys figures like cad bane, for example i have episode 9 rey, shes a great figure which you can pose in many poses, but her face is just so blank or so

Like I said with your Sabine review, I prefer Cad's clone wars look. This just seemed off to me after years of the other look. Its jarring enough to have stopped me from getting the figure. It's a fantastic figure, though. I'm excited for the previewed clone wars looking figure though.

NO wire in the coat? like EVERY picture looks like it has a wire in it on the website! i planned on flight poses an this kinda just...ruins it?...
like that's the whole point of the deluxe version besides todo, is the clone wars boot jets...kinda regretting the purchase now.
huh...another video he does have a wire, and the store page says it has a wire...i think you just got a defect my guy...
i wasnt lucky, no wire in the coat...rather dissapointed...sideshow revealed a 6th scale clone wars style cad bane...though alot of people seem to think sideshow keeps dropping the ball in terms of star wars collectibles, like with obi/ani...so idk if it'll be that good...jedha patrol got a wired coat, and the store page says wired coat...so i put in for a 'defect' at sideshow, hopefully they can send me a new coat, the wrist pieces slide off easily so it should be an easy swap out...
though, the todo coming with the clone wars cad bane has knee articulation at least, the one we get with this cad is a bit barebones, but it is technically a 2nd figure so ig i cant complain much. just kinda feels like if you're gonna do something like this for deluxe, why not go all the way? for example green goblin's glider.

Thanks for this review. Your correct, wires should’ve been in the coat. The hat would’ve benefited being fully sculpted to look better. Even better if they would’ve thrown in an extra hat wide like the anime version. But I can’t wait to get mine. I wish I had the funds for two.

I do think you need to let the footprint thing go. If you are walking on a hiking track and see the footprints from the person in front of you do you also HAVE to step in those footprints? No you can stand where you want. If it's a busy Tatooine street there are going to be other footprints.
While I would prefer new textured stands I would take this any day over a flat base with a photo of plants on it.
I feel like I need to double down if anything. It literally makes no sense at all. If he’s not standing in the footprints what is the sand supposed to be? Solid?
@@JustinsCollection I mean sand, dirt, mud, gravel they are solids and footprints in them don't disappear when you move your feet like stepping in water. I just don't get hung up on it. Would I prefer new textures? Absolutely but I will always take texture (why I like the metal grate ones as well) over flat plastic.
I buy these guys in bulk, great for making custom bases. I don't think I have any of my guys with their feet actually in the footprint marks. I even use them for Predators like he is tracking a soldier.

I actually prefer the 3D diorama sand base to the 2D printed base. 😂 I always think those 2D bases look awful and cheap (feels like third party stuff), which doesn’t really match with the realistic figures you put on top of it.
The footprint on the diorama base doesn’t bother me as much, cos you can have overlap footprints on sand so it’s not necessary to put the feet exactly on top of them.
But I would still rather Hot Toys just give us a diorama sand base without the footprints.
Nail on the head there with the no footprint idea. Best of both worlds.
Big hat would look stupid in live action.

I didn't love the way he looked in the show but the figure somehow takes a lot of those issues away. It would still be cool to get a more clone wars accurate head but this one honestly looks REALLY good. The rest of the figure is 🤌
