We salute you Malcolm Young
You need to do this song at River Plate live in 2009, cannons and all!
1983 live in Detroit is the better version. In their prime? Nothing better
Or live in Detroit from 83
Glad your back with this one. This song live is crazy, cannons going off on stage. 👏👏
Thanks for shouting out the drummer. Phil Rudd is so under appreciated/ taken for granted but he’s so important to this bands sound. The guy is amazing. He’s a machine.
I know you’ve seen Whole Lotta Rosie at Riverplate, but have another look and listen to see what he contributes to this band.
Thanks Biz
Great reaction. I feel like AC/DC From the beginning to end was just kick ass timeless ROCK-N-ROLL 🤘 THIS WHOLE ALBUM IS KICK ASS
Great way to start an album......and THE best way to close a concert! This has to be the best concert closer in history. Legendary!
This is how they close out every concert. You NEED to see this one live. There's a surprise that comes with the song!
It is absolutely awesome seeing them perform it live!! Saw it in St. Paul, MN a few years back. One of the loudest concerts I've ever been to.
seeen it 5 times..awesume
And isn't that what they're all about? Loud and proud!@@craigforsberg9844
naw the studio one is better. he belts it out in the studio version better than hes ever done live
This is the single greatest rock anthem of all time. AC/DC close every concert with this song.
Yes! Live is unbelievable! Only way to close a show. I've seen them 3x, they have blown me away each time. Great live band! ...the canons going off, on stage, is a must see and hear. 😊
AC\DC no matter what era (Bon or Brian) and despite how "simple" their songs might be... they'll forever be one of the greatest bands ever!🤘❤🤟
really a rock and roll masterpiece, no getting around it.
just some story. Highway to Hell, Back in Black, and For Those About to Rock were all produced by Mutt Lange one of the most respected studio producers in the business. For Flick of the Switch (also awesome), they went to a different producer to get away from the perfect studio sound and get more raw. Mutt went on to put out the huge Def Leppard albums after his work with AC/DC
This guy is great!! Love to see him getting into it!
Thank you
@@watchbizmatik
I love watching you get into it. You seem to really be enjoying yourself. ☮️, ♥️, & ROCK & ROLL. You’re so cool 😎!!!
What they used to say to the gladiators in ancient Rome in the Roman Colosseum was For those about to die we salute You.
We salute youuuu.........,...
Lot of greats out there, but AC/DC has to be the all time great for me!!
AC/DC Aways brings the heat ......Metal GOATS! The Live version a must.
Hey BIG BIZ. Just watched RIDE ON!! THIS IS AWESOME!! Can’t wait to see you hear it!!
Good observation.
Hey There aint nothing better on UA-cam than Bizmatik reviewing an AC/DC Album , Been waiting longer than a minute for this , and you know it blew you away, Bought this album on release date back in 81 and this title track is one of the greatest in Rock Music stand alone, its Beyond Epic , I have to say being a AC/DC huge fan since 76 that this was one of the very last truly great songs they made , there are some brilliant ones on here Spellbound is Stunning as is Evil Walks and Snowballed, they are 10's there's some 9's and for the first time a few fillers , but this is a epic release and this title track makes it that ❤️ 😈🎸🎸💯
⚡⚡⚡⚡
Coming from me,myself, and I, acdc,is the best, I am alot older now, made it past Fly on the wall, and who made who, and power age and big balls just saying they slaying, just a couple of guys born in Scotland and raised Australian Australia
Imagine being a kid back and then bringing your album home for the first time Listening !
There was nothing like it. There still isn’t anything like it.
I was just waiting for that cannon fire. I knew you would love it.
I saw them on this tour, I should have never took that acid .I missed half the concert ,had a great time man the eighties were my jam
I had the pleasure of seeing them on 4 different concert tours,.. Back in Black,For those about to Rock,Fly on the wall, and maximum overdrive .. Rocked Everytime!!! 😎🤘,they had the cannons on stage facing speaker stacks and they blew apart and dropped confetti on the crowd!! It was Epic!!!
Love your reactions man... thanks for the vids
You are welcome
I... LOVE... it! Un-freakin-beLIEVable song.
Love it
Even seen a tribute band in the UK 🇬🇧 with cannons doing this at the end of the gig 🎸🎸🍺
I also like “ Let’s Get it up” good schrylicks 😊
Oh man I can remember when this came out like it was yesterday ! so good
Hell yeah down for a 21 cannon salute. Enjoy this Anthem.
I SALUTE YOU BIZZ
Well, here we are-story time! Two, to be exact. At 14 yro, on November 15, 1985, a date I remember well, I hit the Teen Trifecta-my 1st bj, my 1st LSD, & my 1st AC/DC concert!!! In that order!🤘😅 Then I didn't care for their later stuff. So lost interest. But in 2011(?) they came back, & with them, even if touring on a crappy album, fans knew they only played about 3 songs, & all the rest would be the good stuff! They were ALWAYS a reliabe great rock show! So I had to go revisit my youth. Being I was back in Nashville I'd see Jack Lawrence of Jack White's (White Stripes) Raconteurs & Dead Weather at the clubs. When this song played, which closed out their sets (used to be a vid on here/YT of that show), I went looking for my ride, & when came down the back way, I saw Jack headed back stage & hollered, "Jack!", but 2 guys looked up & it was Lawrence & Jack White. So I got to meet White. Not really out of the ordinary round here, but thought I'd share & leave a comment for the algorithm! RIP, MALCOLM!🙏
See ya!
✌😎❤
Funkin Cannons Boiiii!!!!!
Johnson wrote Back in Black in about 20 minutes
totally a rock anthem song,,hell yes,,,ac/dc is ,, tha shit,,the black album is best album ever made
Bon Scott the original lead singer but wehe i saw them on this Album tour they shot off the cannons talk about LOUD we had front row center. My buddy worked at the World Music Center.
when.
The songs “COD” & “Inject The Venom” are AWESOME SONGS!!!!!! Their both off the same album as this reaction song.
This is one underrated album. But following up BACK IN BLACK it was bound to be.
But in some ways, FTATRWSY has less to prove. Brain Johnson replaced the irreplaceable Bon Scott, and screamed in the faces of the cynics who doubted him. His first job in AC/DC was to sing a legendary album, front to back.
He then went on tour as if going into battle, and won over all the Bon fans, cementing AC/DC as a still viable and vital force in rock music, for years to come.
So FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK is the sound of revitalized confidence, and it pounds, drips, grooves, vibes and struts all over the place.
Cheers!
What alot of people don't know is
CHUCK BERRY was the man to ANGUS YOUNG .......
🔥
If Brian said Brian wrote Back in Black..then Brian wrote it. Nuff said.
Watch the live version bizdog.... they have a couple cannons on stage
Great song and review but if I can make a suggestion do AC/DC live. There great live and the songs are more effective
🤘🎸✌🙏👍👍❤❤❤
Hell yea AC⚡️DC 😈check out the ROLLING👅STONES music video 🎧 💈🔥RESPECTABLE🔥🎼🎩🎸🎶🎶🎶
It was a good impression btw... better Brian Johnson than I could do lol😆
😂😂 I tried
@@watchbizmatik I wouldn't even try because I know I'd fail miserably lol😂🤣
❤️🤗🥰🤩
wacht the live version on river plate
There are rock bands that appeal to metal fans.
There are metal bands that appeal to rock fans.
And then there's AC/DC.
A rock AND metal band that appeals to everybody.
✌️🇵🇷💦🎧😈🧢🎸💣⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️💥ñeta🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤟
You have to be careful listening to this band, take my word for it, they cause hearing damage and cause you to drive way to fast. lol Bon will always be my favorite but Brian Johnson allowed AC/DC to continue after Bons death and Bon Scott would have never wanted his death to be the end of the band.
Try Flick of the switch and touch too much
I'm nearly a 70 yr old woman and I was bought up ON AC DC AND STILL LOVE IT
THANKYOU!!!!!💚💛🇦🇺👍
Phil Rudd is a drumming machine!
My favorite AC/DC song - both for music and Schlyrics !
This song is always the last song of their concerts. They actually have real cannons on stage. No joke.
Brian and Bon are both equally as good
Ya got that rite mate.
I met Sir Bon Scott at the Raffles Hotel in WA Perth. I was only 7yrs old. He bought me a "Fire Engine" drink ( Lemonade n red cordille) n sat me on his bar stool.
Love the expectation and satisfaction on your face! AC DC mattered. They never failed to bring us straight-at-you, in-your-face, like a freight train rock.
Good words 👏 👌
It is mind blowing this was released in 1981 and the production holds water today, every instrument is so clear and tight.
Can't wait for you to check out "I Put the Finger On You" from this record - probably the most "classic" AC/DC track that wasn't a huge hit!
@brobbus0 I always liked "Gimme a Bullet".
@@brobbus0it's in the same category imo. I love those songs as well.
The cannons put a small crack in the roof of the venue here in Maine in the 80’s before there was such a thing as a noise ordinance law 😂 Ears rang for 3 days 🙌🏼
SNOWBALLED! SNOWBALLED! SNOWBALLED! An absolute sleeper and a gem. Brian's voice is probably at it's prime on this album. The lyrics on this album are really gritty. Put the Finger On You....Breaking the Rules....Spellbound. Snowballed has always been a personal favorite of mine though.
Snowballed is Crazy Good , wished they played it live , like Spellbound which is just so Atmospheric 😈🎸💯
He definitely needs a full album review.
BizMatik rocks, I salute you!
🤘🏿⚡
This album was a thank you to the fans for accepting Brian Johnson and for the success of back in black. They really thought they were finished when Bon died... i love this album.. full of great songs for the fans.... Great reaction.
RIP Malcolm Young. What a Rockin Song. ACDC still goin in 2024.
I mean, honestly, I like Bon or Brian.... they both deliver the same grit and intensity. Bon did have a certain charisma though... but Brian is a badass in his own way. Also good point on the "for those about to ..." part... not everyone can rock so for those that are down, they salute them.
I love how your reactions are so real and down to earth. Watching your face when you heard this song, is how I reacted when I first heard it when it first came out! Thank you for making me smile. Your fan from Montana!
😁😎🙌🏿🙌🏿
When Brian Johnson came on the scene it was electric! I was determined not to miss it anytime it came on the radio. I actually finally bought this album in the 9th or 10th grade. My friend had a brand new Caprice Classic and it held 4 people in front and 4 in the back. We had so much fun rockin and cruisin! I still love it and always will! It's not often that a band like AC/DC could find a new front man and keep on rockin. I'm such a huge fan! Peace!
This was the album that introduced me to hard rock music. Never stopped listening.
It's so true, we need our rock n roll to get us through each day. On the way to work on the car radio, on our lunch break, on the way home, and then again when the alarm clock goes off again the next day. Great review Biz.
Spellbound is my favorite from this album, this might be my favorite album too.
Spellbound is definitely a nasty ass bluesy song that closes out this album perfectly!
Not a very popular song, to non real ac/dc fans that is...but whenever I've seen ppl hear it for the first time, their reaction is priceless!
"WTF was that?!! Play it AGAIN!!"
This and For Those about to Rock are my faves on this epic album along with Evil Walks and Snowballed
@@josephsheehan7879 Lol, I know. To me this album was AC/DC at their best. I wish more reactors would react to the amazing hidden gems by so many artists/bands that weren't played on the radio. It's a shame.
Funny you say it is a rebellious thing, because back then that is exactly what this was. You didn't put songs out like "Hells Bells" and not have serious push back from a very Christian Society back then. We were rebellious for just LISTENING to this type of music in the 80's and those who were around back then, rockin out to this, know.
I was at the show for this tour in Detroit. On the left of the stage. They had real canons that shot off during this song. 100 ft. away BOOM!
This was epic live, you feel that cannon right to your soul. 🤘
I was at this concert tour. They had the "real" cannons along the top of the stage rigging. At the end of this song, each cannon went off right down the line. The cannons were "armed" with these little bits of paper, so the whole stadium was FILLED with floating pieces of cannon fodder. Fucking awesome. (I still have the ticket stub and a piece of the cannon paper in my scrap book).
The most underrated AC DC album but for me the most beautiful sounding.
Bro where's the snotty nose rez kids at!!???
Would be dope if you could react to some early Fleetwood Mac with guitarist and singer Peter Green... they were originally a wicked blues rock band. really good
For those about to rock comes from what the Roman emperors used to shout down to the gladiators before they fought each other to the death in the ampitheatres...
For those about to die - we salute you!
ACDC had the two best hard rock singers not just in Australia but in the universe
Sophomore album for Brian Johnson and I don’t think it gets enough respect for how great it is coming after Back In Black.
E P I C S O N G.
That was a pretty good impression you did there haha
I had some practice 😂😂
The first time I saw AC/DC was supporting this album. Back then it was lights and cannons and Angus! Great live band.
I saw them in concert they had these cannons at both ends of the stage and when he yelled fire. Those cannons were loud. Bang!!!!
I was in 5th grade and listened to this non stop. Was in catholic school. Was a little afraid of c.o.d. 😂 I remember laying there listening with headphones going to sleep.. awesome! I started at 8 in 79
Phil rudd is special. Hes a machine. They all are, for real.
Phil rudd was on point for this track....great drumming.
Bought this album when it first came out. At the time it was the first AC/DC album that had songs that I didn't like. But the songs I like I like. Let's get it up, C.O.D and Spellbound are stand outs to me.
Fuck yeah! Stand up and be counted! For what you are about to receive! We are the dealers we’ll give you everything you need!
AC/DC the rock anthem band and this one is probably their best. This is one band I never got to see live that I regret.
My favorite AC/DC song with Brian Johnson.
Great song from a great album but Brian's voice just kept cutting deeper and deeper into me after this album, and not in a good way. Not just nails on a chalkboard, but broken nails on a chalkboard. But they are still in my top 10, maybe 5. Big Guns is one of my fav songs post this album for sure.
C.o.d. :) awesome
AC/DC has the greatest songs to open and close their concerts with. Open with For Those About to Rock (we salute you) and close with (you've been) Thunderstruck
They close with For Those about to Rock and have done so for every concert (except SARS and a couple others)since 1981. They have never closed with Thunderstruck.
@@smyersfishingadventures Did I say they opened and closed with these songs> NO I DIDN'T !!!!! I said they were great songs to use for opening and closing. Uy goodness- some people
How bout Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution as a closer
@@southernbybirth9147 You may want to go back and re-read what you wrote, word for word you said "the greatest songs to open and close their concerts with. "Open with For Those About to Rock (we salute you) and close with (you've been) Thunderstruck". Not that they were great songs to use for opening and closing. So yes moron, that is exactly what you said. Yes, really, some people!
This is one you feel... Its one helluva vibe.
Yes we do!!
Legend!!!!!
I love how you’re not getting drawn into the Bon is better argument. Bon and Brian are totally unique in their own way, sometimes I am in a Bon mood the next day Brian they’re both fking legends.
Yet another epic concert. Angus playing, is energy on steroids ❤ Never stopping.. beautiful
It's mostly his brother Malcom, who wrote all these brilliant rhythm parts and is one of the sickest rhythm players in rock.
It’s too bad something infiltrated rock music and killed it off somewhere around 1995-1997. Sure, there are still a few out there making good rock music, but they’re not being promoted anymore- instead, almost everything on the charts is some form of crossover/country/pop/rap/auto tune BS which doesn’t hold a candle to even pop such as the BeeGees, much less AC/DC or Zeppelin or Pink Floyd or Queen, or countless others most people under 40 have never been fortunate enough to hear.
