MP-22 is my favorite official masterpiece because you can tell the designer was a magnus fan. This figure is strong in both modes which is not easy to pull off. The all in one transformation seals the deal for me. Its almost like witchcraft how this thing comes together so seamlessly. Excellent review sir and welcome back!

This is one of my favourite g1 masterpiece figures in the line. Because it can pull off the impossible: having a realistic truck mode convert into a cartoon accurate robot mode! I know that’s because of the trailer making up for the cartoon accuracy, but still, wow!
I'm still hoping that somewhere down the line they give us an Ultra Magnus Masterpiece figure that actually does have the whole white Optimus Prime cab mode thing

Great review again. I bought that shoulder/gun upgrade and the kfc hands. The shoulder pieces could probably just be cut on the original figures pieces, if your handy with a dremel tool. Then he gets a couple more shoulder clicks which helps slightly more. But I got to admit the kfc hands on Magnus and Star Saber really give them more life. I thought the upgrade heads on my Kup and Bludgeon were great, these hands make me want to upgrade all masterpiece figures hands now. I highly recommend either set. The shoulder/gun set, the gun barrel almost doubles the rifle and gives it a good beefy look and feel.

I think it's because Red Alert was both 1: A Lame, paranoid nutcase. and 2: He's a repaint of Sideswipe, in which I'd assume more people would have Sideswipe as compared to Red Alert.

The G1 cab is actually Optimus Prime cab repainted painted and gave in a different trailer and he's just Optimus Prime transforming and not putting his trailer
I must be the only one who wants to see a line of Master Peiece Convoi who are interchangeable between Optimus Prime, Omaga Supream, Nemesis Prime, and may be even some shateredglass based coloring eventually. I always loved how the G1 could have either Optimus or Omaga in the Supream armor standing in the repair bay of the Prime trailer.
I just realised apound a consecutive viewing, during the size comparisons, Optimus' smokestacks are miss transformed untill allopyon is among the lineup. OPTIMUS HAS A CRUSH :3

I will never ever be able to afford any of these figures. But to be honest, I am glad that in m lifetime I get to see "cartoon" accurate Transformers. Don't get me wrong, the "original" figures back in my day kicked ass, but these new figures do the TV series and Animated Movie(NOT Michael Bay)justice. Transformers will ALWAYS rules.

there are very few Ultra Magnus that contain the white inner prime and look good in both modes. in fact I can't think of any...
