@@pqnda2172 I was and it doesn't work for me. I was trying with iMac 2015 and I failed too. I was reading it is not possible since imac 2012. Is it true? With which models does it work for you?
It works for the 2017, and the pro. And it definitely works for up to 2012. It I can’t confirm it works on the 2015. But I swear I’ve exposed these before on my 2015 purely out of curiosity.
I have the 2009 27" imac and this method doesn't appear to work .. anyone else had success with a 2009 .. Im not sure yet if my 2011 21.5" is the same issue.
Thanks for actually removing the stand, others videos dont show that part.
Dang, this is what I’ve been looking for. Straight to the point. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Bru for doing it all the way 🙏🏻🙏🏻
LIKED and subbed. I'm reluctant to remove my stand for a long flight because I've read it doesn't work on newer iMacs. I have a 2017 21.5".
If anyone is struggling: Apple did not make the late 2012 model with a removable stand.

Does it work for imac 2020 27"? I am trying to do this with plastic card attached to mount adapter but nothing is happening.
I am not sure about 2020 model. Try inserting opening tool in a tilted angle..
