As for references to external media, one thing I rarely hear people talk about are all the World of WarCraft references thrown into the show. As a kid, watching the show and playing the game was a definite treat. I can't remember the episodes that they appear in, but I can recall three from the top of my head: - In the Shnissugah episode, Willy talks about " a level 60 warlock gearing Stamina" in the cafeteria - I can't remember where, but there's a scene where Principal Goodvibes is dressed like a barbarian fighting against a creature that most definitely resembles a Murloc from WoW - I can't remember where either, but a scene where there's a crowd of monsters where one yells "We love you, Grim!"; many of the monsters have designs representing WoW characters and the armor you would get from questing, from Forsaken to Trolls and Orcs, etc. I wish I could pull episode names and numbers, but I distinctly remember those off the top of my head and it was always cool seeing it discussed.

I've never heard of Dead Meat until few months ago cause that's when I started to digging back at the shows I watched as a kid. And knowing the story of what it could have been and how nice of a guy Mr. Atoms seem, it makes me really sad not just because I wanted to see what the show would've been, but knowing that he work for years on this show just makes me feel bad about him.

there is alot of characters in media portrayed as dumb who have those smart moments and a character that surprisingly has alot of those as much as people wanna disagree with me, is Michael Kelso from that 70s show, in the keg episode he does perfect math, in another ep when he is helping fix pong with red to make the paddles smaller he says something smart and red gives a kind of surprised look, he used to be a nerd and be good in school, the flashbacks when he had the headgear clearly show he was a nerd and good in school before hyde introduced him to weed, I find the dumb character that maybe secretly smarter than people think a great trope.
