I scored it 116 - 114 for Beterbiev. Beterbiev was getting to Bivol consistently in rounds 10 - 12 and would probably have knocked Bivol out if this were an old-school 15-rounder! I had rounds 4 and 8 as even, in other words both fighters got 10 points. When I hear someone say a round could have gone "either way" it sounds to me that the round is a tie. If it's a tie, give each fighter 10 points for that round. BTW: Sheik Turki posted the fight in high-def on UA-cam. THANK YOU SHEIK TURKI!
I agree if this was 15 rounds it would go only one way. Both fighters really gave it all. And yeah turki is the guy for posting it literally 2 days after the fight! 💪🏼
My scorecard *1B, 2B* *3A* (Bivol land sporadic combination, Artur more consistent body and head shots though they were single shots) *4B* (Very close round, Bivol landed combinations Artur pressed the action, and finished the round strong) *5A* (Another very close round, a lot of shots were blocked by both fighters. Artur slightly landed more towards the end) *6A* (Walking him down, consistent, landing heavy leather esp to the body, blocking most of Bivol's attacks, Bivol not active) *7A* (Could have been a Bivol round but Artur landed heavy shots in succession, he hurt Bivol who shelled up the whole time) *8B* (Extremely close round, could have gone either way; the flurry at the end, though blocked, edges it to Bivol? It could have easily been an Artur round, landing the heavier shots, but Bivol was active in this round, too and stood his ground. Close round.) *9B* (As beautiful of a round for Bivol as he was in the 1st and 2nd-ACTIVE, stood his ground, picked his shots, defended well.) *10A* (Strong round by Artur, pressed the actions, Bivol landed about 2 shots, extremely inactive. Maybe recuperating from the 9th round?) *11A* (Artur is a Machine, strong round.) -This is the only time they are showing highlights from Artur Beterbiev. When you know you know 😉. Matchroom and the DAZN doing some visual manipulation. *12A* (Artur is a machine, strong round again. Bivol was melting there. He never experienced anything like that in his life.) -I think that's why he accepted the loss with ease, respect and honour.
I had it a draw. The judges seem to favor aggression and dominance even though Bivol was landing cleaner punches and blocking punches but taking damage from his own guard.
@@rustyshackleford9452 summed it up perfectly. boxing scoring criteria is very subjective I think that's what those people calling it a robbery are forgetting.
This was one of the best fights I've ever watched. I've literally watched it 4x already. This is the hurt business, you can't give Bivol round 7-this is not amateur boxing. Initially, I thought Bivol won the fight, and I felt heartbroken for him, but after rewatching it, Beterbiev won the fight, and the Judges got it absolutely right. 115-113 | Beterbiev
Watching live I thought Bivol narrowly. Have watched fight again thought Artur did win. Bivol got rag dolled from the 5th. Arturs power definitely had effect and think bevol was weary. Not 112 to 116 but did win.
Bivols punches were cleaner, and he was quite active. But he wasn't the dominant one. I thought it was a razor-sharp close match and was either going to be a draw or Arturs win. Would love to see a rematch.
I had it a draw too. Watching live I had Beterbiev 1 round down going into the 12th and he clearly won that round. Great fight that could have gone either way.
You scored it live for Beterbiev 😁. Judges score fights live ring side. Judges do not judge using youtube videos after boxing matches. Judges also concider 1) Effective Aggression and 2) Ring Generalship especially in Professional Boxing. I rest my case.
@@adamopez5815 exactly that's why I think people need to stop hating on the judges they have a very difficult job especially in close fights like this. And in terms of effective aggression you have to score a lot of those rounds to beterbiev.
@@adamopez5815 I'm not sure what case you make? Watching live in a bar is not the same as being ring side. I disagreed with the decision live but watching back cld see why he got decision.
