I passed u whilst on a wee jog, but as a big, awkward fella who definitely didn’t want to seem like a mad stalker I just gave a little smile and nod. Congrats on the achievement, I enjoyed followin the progress. Was never in doubt.
Savage.Well done Fergus.You're a monster 😁
Thank you!
Well done fella an amazing inspiration I just wish I had this channel in my life 20 years ago.
Yes Fergus congratulations you did epic!!
🫡
Fantastic work Fergus, you should be immensely proud of yourself for this and how far you've come. The message you shared in your last video really hit home for me, having also had huge mental health challenges, and finding solace in fitness in recent years. Really enjoying the hybrid journey and your content, inspiring stuff sir. Keep it coming 😀
Very proud thank you! Great to hear 🤝
Congrats on such a massive achievement! I'll wait impatiently for the release of the full video... Meanwhile, I have a couple of questions:
How many breaks did you had? How long were they? How many times did you had to charge your watch during the race? How many calories did you burn? How many calories did you eat during the run? How will you recover from such a massive impact on your body?
Again, congrats on this! You are a massive inspiration for me!
Big well done dude
Congratulations mate, rest up legend
Legend. Never in doubt. Congrats Fergus!
Massive congratulations Fergus (and to your team)!!! Enjoy the rest and recovery 😊
This is amazing, such an incredible achievement. Every time I was on the socials, always checking the garmin tracker. Going from immobile go Ironman at the moment and always love the videos popping up as a man extra boost of motivation.
Congrats! Very inspirational! Well Done
Well done Fergus. You’re insane!! Insane motivation
Well done, smashed it can't wait for the movie. For the QA, I seen what you were doing so went out on Sunday and ran 12 miles of the west Highland way. I am a beginner so what would be your suggestion to anyone that wants to recreate what you have done. 12 miles and I was in some pain on the trail not being used to it
Incredible! An absolute machine!
Congrats
Thank you!
Amazing effort mate.
Well done. Look forward in seeing what you do next.
Beast! We never doubted whether you’d make it
Great work Fergus unreal effort.
Beast! Well done mate, epic achievement, should be proud!
We all knew you would smash it, congrats bro 💪
Congrats to you Fergus and the team!

Your channel has been a huge inspiration to me! And on the day you upload the video (21st of April) I do my first Half Marathon!!!
Unreal effort. Can’t wait to watch more content.
Congratulations mate, that's a massive effort!
Congrats. Huge respect.
Half man half machine half animal!!! Mad congratulations mate
What a legend! 💪💪
Just a stubborn bloke with the great support team 😂
Incredible man. Just brilliant!
Insane performance Fergus
Amazing work, truly inspiring!
Incredible achievement, well done! Please could you talk through your nutrition for the event. Carbs per hour etc, what you were consuming on the move, and what were you eating at your pitstops please.
Congratulations can't wait to see it
Congrats sir 🙂
Well done mate! Very impressive!
Well done
Amazing, congrats mate
LEGEND.
🎉
What an amazing achievement
The Scottish Goggins
Ridiculous stuff Fergus! We love to see it 🔥 For the Q&A, I'm quite keen to just hear a breakdown of how each phase felt. Also, I'm keen to hear what you think of your training in retrospect - obviously, you managed the 250km, which is phenomenal, but is there anything you felt training could've prepared you better for, or areas where you put in effort that ultimately would've been better elsewhere?
Massive, massive achievement! Congrats, first of all.
For the Q&A, during the run, what has your strategy been around food & liquid intake (as you burned around 21k in calories), and related to that: what has been your plan to avoid cramping up?
Thanks!
2 questions,
What one item of kit did you wish you took / took more of?
What was your best pick me up moment. Something that made you smile while on the journey.
Fantastic effort, really well done.
Well done.. amazing achievement. As to what’s next.. Barkley Marathons?!
Hoofing effort!
Absolutely amazing effort, so inspiring! Embarking upon first 100k later this year and most nervous about the elevation. Q. What was your approach to training for the elevation (and advice to someone who lives in a flatter part of the UK)? And what was your approach to tackling the elevation on the event? Cheers :-)
Legend
Well done lad enjoy the rest now
Thanks Stephen!
Congrats! I recommend Sealfit Kokoro!
Congrats!! 🎉 I was checking in on you during the entire weekend. You look a little bit tired 😊. Question: were there any quotes or affeurisms you repated to yourself during certain parts? Or Something that kept repeating to yourself in the depths of your mind?
PSA if you're gonna talk shit to Fergus make sure at least 251km away or else he can and will get you
How many packets of salt and vinegar squares did you eat?
Huge congratulations. This is epic.
Well done Fergus I did the highland fling race a few years back when I was in my forties .
Do you think at the age of 56 and just staring to get back into training that an ultra is possible again for me to achieve
Congrats Fergus! Truly awesome. I hope you have some time during the upcoming days to sit back, relax and be f*cking proud of this achievement and all the preparations you had to do!
Of course you did your a machine 👌🏼😅
Woooooooooooooo 🏃🥇
🤝
Question: What did you do for injury prevention?
What were you thinking about in the first 10km? Had it quite sunk in yet how much farther you would be going, or did it take longer for that to happen?
How much do you push yourself for pace or time when endurance training?
Everest?
Did you do anything specific mitigate the minor annoyances which, over a 24+ hour race, can become race-ending? (e.g. blisters, chafing, ...)
How did it feeling running for that long, by the time you're distance increased throughout the time, did you feel that distance passed more quickly or slower?
I feel like i would be on a bit of a downer after a high like that, do you get any feeliyod that sort?
👊👍👌
The next challenge - Eating back the 21000 calories you burned...documented of course
...😁
100m m8
500km run now
*blocks*
@ferguscrawley95 🤣 sorry mate, can't wait for this video to come out. Massive congrats. The Strava tells a story in itself.
Well done , you look tired and no wonder 😂
Weren't you planning on going to the top of Ben Nevis?
What an animal
Did he do nevis aswell?
Changed plans on early Sunday morning given the conditions at the top (crampons needed) paired with sleep deprivation and deliriousness of whole team, would potentially have crossed into recklessness so made up the distance in Glen Nevis - will all be detailed in full video 🫡
Yeah from the strava map it didn’t look like nevis was on it.
Insane achievement regardless and main thing is safety. Massive congratulations
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
🫡
Fergus, you're a true motivation to me and many many...ad infinum... people. Because of you I ran my first 10k race last year, a big jump up for me after barely making a 1/2 mile not too long before that. I want to push to run my first ever marathon. What kind of mindset and physical prep changes happen when you push for the longer distances?
Congrats! What an adventure it must have been.
Can confirm!
For the Q&A, now that you have succesfully finished and can be fully honest about the fears going on, how confident were you that you were going to make it?
Sorry, Fergus, on the 21st, I'm signed up to run 1/10th of that!
Congrats sir, that's a heroic effort right there. How was your talk with the gods? Can't wait to see a full video about it!
Fair play lad, incredible achievement
Consider doing the Arctic Circle Trail in one go!
Much respect, what an epic achievement.
Train for 8a boulder next? 🤔
Savage 😮 Time to run a Badwater ^^
How much pain were you in during run ?
Congrats. Time to turn up the speed and go for a sub 3 marathon!
Well done 👏

Phenomenal effort! Would love to see you in a last man standing ultra!!! Would love to see how far you could go with that format of ultra!
Well done Fergus, you’re an inspiration to me and many others 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
