Thanks. Just burned the starter motor up on my 2020 300rr after a bad crash. Starter button stuck on and kept the starter motor turning the motor while the bike was in gear while I regained my composure LOL...

2020 Honda CRF250R part look up
    The correct Honda part # is 31201-KPC-D51 (A) & 31202-KPC-D51 (B)
If you buy 2 of the (A) part #, one will be backward.. it will work, but the mounting tab for the brush will be in the wrong direction.
    I hope this helps.. 🙏
A little more indep would have been a little more helpful!
KTM 17-22 300, brushes will work also..

Hi. I have this clicking sound but ONLY when the bike is warm. On cold engine and first few minutes of riding the starter works just fine. When the engine gets warm I cannot start it anymore, only the clicks sound. The battery is new. Can the brushes be the reason? The bike has only 250h. When I see how much work it is I just want to cry 😀

Mine was doing the same thing as yours, until today.... now it's just clicking every time I try to use the electric start. I installed a kick starter last winter, so it's not a show-stopper right now, but I am going to change out the brushes this winter

@@theringer1217 a guy told me yesterday when I asked him about my starting issues that beta bikes had lots of problems with their starters. (while no have kickstarters for back up) uggh. i was told that the bike I got, 125 4 stroke 2018, needs the One Way Assembly replaced. I'm trying to find out what the hell thaat is and how to test it.

maybe you can help me. difficult finding info.... i just got a 2018 beta 125 rrs motard I do wonder what the difference is between motard and enduro models). the seller said that it needs to have the "one way assembly" fixed/replaced and the part is Only $105. I see that part on the beta parts list, but how do I tell if That is the issue? What the heck is the One Way assembly anyway?? How do I get at it and tell if it isn't right? Thanks. I hope you are one of the rare guys who actually answers some comments/questions. ty

Thanks for the vid! Just curious what the signs are that the brushes are on their way out. 2019 beta 300 rr. Hesitates on the first few rotations when starting and then eventually the engine fires and starts. My wife's xtrainer turns over strong then fires. Curious if this is something similar to what you were seeing before the fresh brushes. Also at roughly how many hours did you "spin the brushes"?
    Thanks again!

Hesitation can be either low voltage reaching the starte or brushes on their way out. I had roughly 1k+ hours on these brushes before they were switched. Hook up a volt meter while starting, if it drops too far below 12v while starting swap out the battery. Lipo batteries have much better energy density and provide faster and easier starts.

My 17 beta x trainer 300 isn’t hitting the power band. Just bought the bike and it sat for 2 years. Carb was dirty so I cleaned it and it starts and idles amazing. I tried adjusting it manually but no luck. Do you think it’s the power valve, carb or maybe something electrical? Anything helps thank you !

Pop the powervalve cover off on the RT side and see if it actuates smoothly. Remeber there will be spring tension from the spring.

@@EnduroWikithank you but I already did that and everything is actually clean and nothings sticky. I’m leaning on the too much oil idea because it’s leaking a lot out of the stator side but still unsure of what it could be
