It's so crazy to think Jon B was fishing these places when I go to these places like daily 😂 Arizona is a hit or miss tbh. A lot of folks actually hate fisherman here. A lot of places are private but we all know the best fishing is there LOL
Jon thank you for coming to my home state and showing just how hard it is in these urban ponds. Your videos are a masterpiece every time. Keep it up never stop fishing! 🌵
I have to say this casting concrete series is prob one of my favorite fishing series I’ve seen. The type of videos it is not just the specific video. Keep it up bro your vid are my favorite so far
Couple things here, so 1. I like that you also show your struggles, and 2. It shows how important local knowledge/using the correct technique is to catching fish.
You should have went to Yuma, AZ. Martinez Lake, Mitry Lake, Fortuna Pond, dirt lined canals, and of course the Colorado River. Next time head south after Parker/Havasu!
So awesome seeing you fish my backyard! Met you, Jon, at a meet and greet years ago in az and had you sign my reel. Keep up the good content man and excited to see the Saguaro lake video (Hopefully you go to there, canyon, or Roosevelt)!
South Dakota! Tons of lakes and river systems! It’s got such a diverse amount of species you could catch 7 different types of fish in one body of water in one day!
As an angler from the uk who sometimes goes fishing for carp, generally you present a parcel or spread of bait with your hookbait (bait attached to your hook) is within. We also tend to use barbless hooks as they are just as effective if tension is maintained and does less damage to the fish!
Drain the corn then dissolve saccharin tablets in some hot water to sweeten , add strawberry and anise oil and pour over the corn. Leave sit overnight. Throw a couple handfuls out for chum and then fish the area. Carp love it!
Hey Jon, the next casting concrete you have to come to Wisconsin. In my local pond you find bass, carp, catfish and even bowfin and pike in just a pond. But in places up north in small streams you will catch big musky in the places you least expect it alone with 5lb bass and big pike. Wisconsin has such a variety and it’s the perfect place for the next 1
Lots of places for Urban fishing in Denver. Ponds everywhere big and small. Lakes for your boat. Platte River runs right through downtown. Lots of small mouth.
For carp Jon use oatmeal, I know it sounds crazy, but a handful of instant oatmeal, put it in the water, mold it into a ball, pack it onto a bare treble, you’ll catch tons they love it!
The Columbia River in Washington state is loaded with small mouth bass. The state is beautiful and loaded with bass. You should plan a spring trip up north.
Come fish the Mystic River / Lake in Medford and Arlington Mass. Herring are running and you can catch a largie, smallie, and striper in the same place. Its urban and theres a big concrete dam at in the lake.
Wow Jon! I don’t live in AZ but I do take trips there every year! Last time I went to Arizona, I caught 60 trout in two days! All very respectable size to! I know nothing about trout fishing, so that shows how these trout were biting! They stock the area on Tuesdays. It was a lake called Show Low Lake in Show Low, Arizona. If you’re continuing the series, you should give it a try! Great video Jon!
You gotta go fish the canals in Gilbert, there’s also a few ponds in queen creek that are pretty good. Then make your way up north and fish the mountain lakes near Heber and show low.
I'll make the pitch for Buffalo! Watching this series makes me realize just how blessed I am. We pull 3-9lb smallmouth and walleye off of the break-walls along Buffalo Harbor (Lake Erie) and the Upper Niagara. 10lb steelhead trout out of gross drainage ditches in the middle of neighborhoods and plazas. The entire city was built on a giant wetland, so there are ponds (with big largemouth) everywhere! Some of the ponds are public, but the majority (and the ponds that are the best fishing) are private ponds that you need to sneak into! One of the best ponds for fishing is Aero Lake which is in the middle of a highly contaminated superfund site! It's "discouraged" that people go back there because it is so polluted that they don't want people going there and getting cancer. Because the lake is so toxic, it's one of the better places (inland of the Great Lakes) in the city to fish as everybody that does go back there practices catch and release as you will literally die if you don't! The Lower Niagara and Power Authority Fishing Platform needs no introduction! Even the heavily pressured spots where you will meet hundreds of other anglers like (like the Lower Niagara and Burts Dam) are excellent fishing for a multitude of species!
These urban ponds are tough sometimes. Just gotta keep trying different waters. If you ever wanna have a crazy fishing day go to Roosevelt lake. Also if you ever wanna do fly fishing for trout. Our white moutains in NE AZ are amazing!
Bread or corn is a hard one but it depends. Bread is usually better for ponds and creeks I feel like and corn is better for big bodies of water like lakes. Also corn is a cheaper bait and u can bait a lot more of it so it just depends on ur situation. I feel like tho panko jello with a hair rig is the best way to go as u directly bait where ur hook is with the panko jello around a weight and breaking apart from it in the water. U can also bait a lot further with this technique for if u need to make long casts
Jon - us bass guys in the Phoenix area go to Bartlett Lake, Saguaro Lake or Roosevelt Lake. About 1 hour or a hour 1 1/2 outside the Phoenix area. Next time you are in Phoenix I recommend those places!
Hey Jon was wondering if you have done a video on this boat? I would really enjoy if you could drop the link and or make a video on it, love the red and the way you set it up.
Hey John, I’m a local here in the Baltimore Washington DC area and been watching your vids for a hot minute, if you ever wanted to come here and needed a hand or a guide I’d be a pleasure to show you around some of the CRAZY urban fishing our state has to offer both fresh and saltwater! Much love 🫶🏼
THANK YOU FOR PULLING SCOOTERS OUT, everytime i go fishing theres more and more scooters in the water. Lakes, canals litterally everywhere. Thank you for leaving it better than it was when you got there, thats what its all about.
Next casting concreter HAS to be in detroit, you’ve got the Detroit river for bank fishing, and of course giant St Clair muskies and smallmouth right there
I have a challenge, one I don’t even know if you can do. It’s taken me 4 years to get one but try and get a 4 or more pound walleye in Lyman lake. I bet you can’t
Good to know. 😂 I travel the country fishing, and AZ is the toughest. Even in this video, he caught more fish in the couple days than what I have caught since 2020. My biggest cat is only 6 lbs, and the biggest LM bass is only 13 inches.
Grew up in Scottsdale and caught my first fish in Papago Park in about 1970. I vaguely remember it being a blue gill but I'm not totally sure. Either way it's a walk down memory lane. Thanks!!
When Dylan said “we’re waiting for our mom to pick us up” 😂😂😂
As he casually says it and still peacefully unhooks his bass 🤣
You dropped your 20’ bass boat in Tempe town lake😂 bold move!!!
Casting concrete is a legendary series
Sneakily one of the best series you’ve done
It's so crazy to think Jon B was fishing these places when I go to these places like daily 😂 Arizona is a hit or miss tbh. A lot of folks actually hate fisherman here. A lot of places are private but we all know the best fishing is there LOL
Dude I get harassed at Dobson ranch just walking around just because I’ve been “seen” finishing there lol
@@InfiniteBeatzAz probably the best city pond though.
I go to the place under that bridge all the time!
@InfiniteBeatzAz you can get their fishing license.
Its sooooooo cool seeing you fish the waters i fish all the time, its unreal bro keep it up
That would piss me tf off spot burning is gay
@@liam2322 most the spots r already dead to begin with😂
@@BrannenMarksfor real lol
Az pond fishing is all about chasing no fishing signs in neighborhoods 😂
You are very correct there, seemed like my best and most consistent fishing came from fishing the RC boat pond attached to Silverbell lake in Tucson.
Jon thank you for coming to my home state and showing just how hard it is in these urban ponds. Your videos are a masterpiece every time. Keep it up never stop fishing! 🌵
This man has a great mental attitude when dealing with this stuff I would love to see you do one in North or south Dakota
I have to say this casting concrete series is prob one of my favorite fishing series I’ve seen. The type of videos it is not just the specific video. Keep it up bro your vid are my favorite so far

I grew up fishing these lakes. Every year I go back and fish it as well!
Jon Boy is pumping these videos out like my ex was popping out kiddo's....

Bro Dylan was killing me with the quick answers haha
You should definitely do a casting concrete maine! I love your videos ❤ hope to see next casting concrete in maine
You guys should come to Wisconsin for this series. Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Eau Claire all have some solid fishing!
South Dakota! Tons of lakes and river systems! It’s got such a diverse amount of species you could catch 7 different types of fish in one body of water in one day!

💀💀💀
It’s fun I know everyone of these spots cool
To see you here Jon
Colorado is a beautiful state and has cool urban setting good bass fishing up north.
I think Oregon is a beautiful State to not only fish, but to enjoy the urban experiences and beautiful waterways.
essentially portland you can get heroin on every corner lol jkjk
Drain the corn then dissolve saccharin tablets in some hot water to sweeten , add strawberry and anise oil and pour over the corn. Leave sit overnight. Throw a couple handfuls out for chum and then fish the area. Carp love it!
Been watching since you where kids and you never fail to show me a amazing video and that I can watch it all without getting bored
You have to fish red and white crappie jigs in Tempe Town Lake. I've caught hundreds of bass out of there. High pressure lake. Must use light tackle.
Growing up, we used peanut butter and bread and a little bit of water to mold it all together. Carps love it!
Hey Jon, the next casting concrete you have to come to Wisconsin. In my local pond you find bass, carp, catfish and even bowfin and pike in just a pond. Yo I love this AZ content honestly such good content and such a cool ecosystem. Please do this again in the future.
You should try fishing the California Aqueducts it’s over 400 miles of concrete canals loaded with Striped Bass, Catfish and largemouth Bass.
Great video like always 😊 I setup a mini pond with a huge bluegill and wild shiners
Lots of places for Urban fishing in Denver. Ponds everywhere big and small. Lakes for your boat. Platte River runs right through downtown. Lots of small mouth.

As an az native I appreciate the effort
Gotta visit California! I would love to see you fish the California delta and Clearlake especially this time of year! 🔥
Those pond chains you finished up at are the best in the state
6:15 “I think that buss is deleted it sounds really good or a turbo”!? Bro that’s the brakes 😂
Come fish the Mystic River / Lake in Medford and Arlington Mass. Herring are running and you can catch a largie, smallie, and striper in the same place. Its urban and theres a big concrete dam at in the lake.
Dude you and Aaron weebe are my favorite anglers in UA-cam, hilarious and kill it
You should try a casting com3crete in Portland, Or. You can get bass, trout, salmon, carp, catfish, and sturgeon off the docks
Casting concrete striped bass edition. Jersey, NY, deleware river etc. migrating striped bass through major cities such as NYC and philly.
Wow Jon! I don’t live in AZ but I do take trips there every year! Last time I went to Arizona, I caught 60 trout in two days! All very respectable size to! Jon you have inspired my friend and I to finally start our UA-cam channel and for that thank you!!❤
Minnesota gotta be next. There is the Mississippi River in the Twin Cities and numerous ponds in the suburbs surrounding the Twin Cities.
Reminds me of some of NS2, some of those ponds are unreal. Just looks so sick to fish there.
Imagine how fun these people killing the vibe are at parties!
If you're still around, the salt River has some pretty fun bass fishing and I can show you some cool spots just throwing it out there
These urban ponds are tough sometimes. Just gotta keep trying different waters. If you ever wanna have a crazy fishing day go to Roosevelt lake. Also if you ever wanna do fly fishing for trout. Our white moutains in NE AZ are amazing!
L spot burner
Is Roosevelt still down like 100’? Last time I saw it was in the mid to late 90’s.
@richardbossman9875
It's still low. But I went in May earlier this year and it's the highest I've seen in a long time. So it's getting better
i live in az and i am so glad you made these vids lol, really though tough fishing and a grind but still glad you came wish i coulda saw you👍

Love fishing that lake, there is another pond called Indian steel park that is great for catfish

Hey Jon was wondering if you have done a video on this boat? I would really enjoy if you could drop the link and or make a video on it, love the red and the way you set it up.
Jon, head to Washington state and Oregon. Drive up to Seattle and work your way down and back towards Texas. That is a fun and scenic trip.

San Diego county Orange County and LA NEEDS to be an episode one day
Dylan knew the spots
Bro this makes my minnesota spring depression less one day at a time boys summer is so close 😂😂😂
There a lot of bass in Tempe town lake but it's very tough forsure. If you put in the work you can catch some big bass (6+) out of there
If You’re coming north come on up to Traverse City. Mad Urban Settings to hit around here
Tempe Town Lake used to be clear water when it first reopen. I caught alot of large mouth bass there.
Love this series JB. Now take a ride on the struggle bus. Casting Concrete: PHILLY
THANK YOU FOR PULLING SCOOTERS OUT, everytime i go fishing theres more and more scooters in the water. Lakes, canals litterally everywhere. Thank you for leaving it better than it was when you got there, thats what its all about.
We would love to see you in California. The bay area has tons of fishing spots with lakes, rivers and ocean available.

Jon you always crack me up. Love your attitude, you seem very like go w the flow
Arizona has a lot of mirror carp. Most people i know that have gotten big bass fish golf courses and private lakes.
I'm gonna make it out to the southwest to fish one of these days. I had no clue about the fishing last time I was out that way.
Jon b you should come back to Illinois we could do some pond hopping and I can show you some cool spots
Jon with the carp content!!! Mirror was sick!!
I have a challenge, one I don’t even know if you can do. It’s taken me 4 years to get one but try and get a 4 or more pound walleye in Lyman lake. I bet you can’t
corn on the bottom, bread on top. Sick vid Jonny
Right after I got done catching a few nice timing 🤜🤛
You want a real challenge. Come up to Seattle or Portland or something. Especially for bass!
You guys gatta do mass, fresh and salt all types of species from tiger musky to blue fish
“We’re getting yelled at but still catching bass” is awesome 😂
If you do Wisconsin, I recommend either Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls. Or LaCrosse area.
you should come to new jersey we have some pretty good spots for a variety of fish including some monster chain pickerel
Minnesota urban fishing please man
Az fishing is humbling.
definitely doesnt look like it at all haha. try fishing in New mexico. there are like 10 bodies of water in the entire state.
Good to know. 😂

@@kennethwylie8377 but have you ever fished in NM?
@@kennethwylie8377how is that possible you should definitely give up and find better things to do
@@kennethwylie8377I started bass fishing in 2020 and I’ve caught multiple dds
Yet another A1 video from Jon 🤙
Next time you need to check out Roosevelt and Apache! Love your videos!
Sometime you can find them in irrigation ditches i spent a week chasing 6 bass at lunch and caught two
Opening a can of corn with pliers is so relatable
You should go to lake Powell some day it has all types of fish and big bass all over
Team corn for sure
Corn is cool, but bread for the Topwater bite all day.
What a privilege to fish right next to Arizona State (#1 in innovation 9 years in a row (ahead of MIT and Stanford))
Definitely need to go to Southern California
I hope the next lake in Az is Saguaro cause it’s called the Land of the Giants for a reason. I caught a 26 lb bag last spring in under 3 hours.
Grew up in Scottsdale and caught my first fish in Papago Park in about 1970. I vaguely remember it being a blue gill but I'm not totally sure. Either way it's a walk down memory lane. Thanks!!
Here in AZ, a lot of the waters are very heavily fished and the fish make you earn the catch for sure.
