Hey, I have a 70 Bus. Haven't pulled an engine since High School back in the 70's, was fun to watch the process. Couldn't help but notice the Berklee School of Music sticker....I'm from Mass.
Bruce Endres That is terrific! I have played with some students and instructors from Berklee, but it was only rock, sensationalized. lol. I'm smelling gas and I think losing it too in my 70 Bus, wondering how to approach this.
Bruce Endres Ya got new braided lines, I am going to replace what I can see and keep my fingers crossed, never thought about the gas cap gasket, not sure if I have one. I'll have to check, it is the one with the cool embossed VW logo on it.
i need to take out the gas tank to clean it out, this is my first VW passed down by my wifes grandfather when he passed. please post more helpful video!
amigo compre una igual para repararla , no tenia motor y compre uno pero al intalarlo queda caido de un lado , y es la caja que queda doblada cual sera la causa ? te lo agradesco si sabes la repuesata ?
Damn. Nice video. Now I can pull my engine the next time I have a spare six minutes and forty seconds.
It was edited so more like ten minutes
Love it. I'll be doing it this week and this is a big help. I'm most impressed that you did all of that without removing or losing your hat!
Great video! I watched it yesterday and it helped me a lot today when I took out the engine of my brother in law’s T2a. A piece of cake now. Thanks!
This video gave me the confidence to attempt this. Put a 2007 street torquer in and am back in business. Thank you.
Awesome!! I am so happy you have subtitles on for this video!! Thank you!
Great interesting videos & thank you for showing me how to take out the engine in my Bus!
Thanks for the great video, I'm picking up my "new" 65 camper on Friday and will reference your video shortly thereafter I'm sure!

Yeah, my daughter attended a Berkeley program and now is in the Jolliet Illinois symphony.

Probably the rubber/fabric fuel line below the fuel tank. Just gets old and brittle. Also could be the gas cap gasket.
