Whoooo Komerat!!!! Glad to hear you Danish Vets have it locked down tight. Set out a listening post and watch for sapper. I'll be napping in the mess hall!!!
Hi Shug! Thanks for taking us along on another adventure. Man, you always have the perfect thing to say that speaks to all of us.....34:45 - "I don't always need a big view, I just like the forest". Thanks again my friend!
Hello. Greetings from the Czech Republic! Every time I watch your videos of beautiful nature, I want to go somewhere! I have been watching your channel for years and I learned everything about the hammock from you and I sleep in it several times a year on my trips. I wish you good health and many such positive trips!!! I write using a translator
Missed this when you first uploaded it. Loved hearing all the birds, reminded me of when I was in Michigan in early May doing some hiking and camping. Thanks for being you and thanks for bringing us along.
Awesome to see you out again Shug... And to hear you as well. Top video as always. Hope the foot sorts itself out soon & best of luck with the new boots too 🙂
@@shugemery I know the feeling. Fighting back from arthritis in both knees. Takes time & everything has to be juggled but I just had my first month covering over 100km, the best I've done in 22 months. Stay well mate.

Kendal Mint Cake is from Kendal (duh!😁) in Cumbria, which is in western England just below the Scottish border, in what is known here as the Lake District. Loved your videos for years - hope you enjoy makin' 'em as much as it seems. Woo buddy!
The way you have with words....They should have you do an audio book about some adventures!!!! Awsome to see you back Lolligaggings and keeping Sector 7 clear..
That hammock is like a throne. I like the fact it takes an inflatable matress, means if you can't find trees to hang from you can always sleep on the floor with a tarp.
Hey Shug, I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I am fairly new to hammocking and I really like it, and I greatly appreciate your creative yet informative and interesting assessments of the different hammocks and other gear. My wife rolls her eyes at most of what I watch on UA-cam. She loves Shug though. She was reading and halfway listening to me watch this video from across the room. When you were (eloquently) describing that piece of chocolate you were eating she said, “What on earth is he talking about!?”. She said, is he reciting a poem? Made me laugh so hard. Love ya Shug! It looks like a great few days alone w/ great snacks from Norway. I love their chocolates & could live on the breads & cheeses. All I had was coffee & you have me craving a good chocolate. I’m gonna see if Amazon has that dried prune covered in chocolate. I still smile when I see your German table beside the hammock. I love some time in the woods but I don't have desire to through hike much. Too many other hobbies I enjoy and would miss for weeks or months on trail.
That was a delightful trip into the wilderness Shug, ya got me beat with the pushups, I might keep up with no pack on my back. That bass line had me tapping along then you were gone, just like that.
Wow Shug, really enjoyed seeing you out there enjoying nature. Can’t wait for my next camping trip. Oh by the way, your critique of the candy is unusual but informative. Loved it!
Hoping you do get out there soon. I love talking candy. I am an ex-drinker and hear my family go on and on about beer and IPAs and weed and all. They talk about it for hours. So I just do that with candy. Thankee.
Been following you for many years but only now when I saw you dip your fries in the tartar sauce did I truly come to know you and know that you are my kind of people. Great to see ya out there again. Shug have you ever had your bear bag messed with by a bear? My daughter and I found a tiny little roadside spot on a carcamping trip up in VT a pure Vermont maple syrup malted milkshake!!!🤤🤤🤤. Again, thank you for the trip, the views and the bass playing! I live in Georgia and I have 4 or 5 hummingbird feeders around my house. Between the 1st of july and the last of august there are over 30 birds around my house. Aah, that river trail at George is pretty arduous, but all the same GLORIOUS!! My favorite site there is good ol' #13 on the Manitou...there is an easier route, but walking on the river is a rooty treat...and that Amok is sweet! Speaking of sweet, tears, I drank the Norwegian cocoa from Toro almost every day hiking the Pilgrimsleden, which is Oslo to Trondheim. Good times in 2017. Today I would have been in Hjerkinn in the Dovrefjell.
Gets real steep right before #16. Reminds me of walking in Linville Gorge all the way by the river. Yes...glorious. Pilgrimsleden looks interesting. I've been to Trondheim when performing on cruise ships. Probably 2001. Loved it. The fjords were amazing.
I watched half this morning out in my garden in the hammock went to my kids gaa game now I. Watching the rest at 10 pm flat out on the couch.. cheers shug I must put a box of irish confectioners for ye..
I am jealous some good English style fish and Belgium fries oh yumm! Yet no whip topping for me. I think I have figuried out a way to put an under quilt on an Amok dramur. I got the idea from looking at old 1890s corsets. I think it will work well on the under side. Where is the vinegar!
You would still need a pad in the Amok for structure but be cool if you could boost to go lower with a UQ. I skipped vinegar on this. Usually do at Gordy's as I like their tartar sauce so much.
you are great shug. ve learned so much from you. i have passed some of the knowledge onto my kids. I will watch you until the skys dont treat us so well. keep it up :)
I believe I have the same foot injury which was due to stepping down hard on a rock while hiking. Hoka shoes have really helped with the injury when not hiking. Your snack game sure was strong this trip!
Takes a while for it to go away...but....I feel no pain today. Maybe I walked it off! Heard good things about those Hola shoes. May have to go try some.
When you did that about subscribing , I was like wait !,...he never says that , then you said " I don't care", lol love ya man. You really sold me on that dessert thingy, lol. I gotta get back out there, you made me miss it. Enjoyed it Shug, whooo buddy!
Just got done packing up for 10 day southern Utah slot canyon hiking trip…leaving in the morning…Get on youtube and Shugs got a new video!!!!!!! Thanks 😎😎😎😎😎
Your trip videos like this make me want to get out there tomorrow, and stinks that i do not have any trip in the near future. The funny thing is that i dont know if i could sit at camp just like that to start, i think i would be to anxious to just sit and enjoy the scenery like that. Even though thats what i would want to do! Need to find a way to unwind faster on trail. Thanks for the video!
If I were not shooting videos I may not hang out as much. Also it was a destination site and not a long backpack trip. Hope you do get out soon. Getting older helps relax into it~~!!
Hey Shug. I feel if you ever come visit Scotland. There’s some fantastic trails/areas you would really enjoy. One of the more famous ones is the West highland way. Definitely some more technical sections on that would be right up your street. Happy Hanging.

13 is a real nice site as well and can avoid the big hills going to 14 and 16. Camped at 13 a couple times years ago.
I watched half this morning out in my garden in the hammock went to my kids gaa game now I. Watching the rest at 10 pm flat out on the couch.. cheers shug I must put a box of irish confectioners for ye..

Love your videos. Love it when I hear you speak Greek
Efcharistó~~~ Whoooooo Buddy))))
Good that you are passing on the hammock life~~ Thankee for the good words.
Thank'YOU Bro❣️🤗
Y'elcome Yellow......

Wow...have a great and safe trip. Sounds exotic! True adventure.....
Taco stew has been one of my go to meals in the back woods! A great recommendation! Gives a whole new meaning to taco Tuesday!
Fun eating sone new meals on the trail. Euro-Eatin'
I don't know much about Norway, but their flag....."that's a plus".
Haaa....Jonas sent me some small flags so I had to fly one!
Hey Shug. I feel if you ever come visit Scotland. There’s some fantastic trails/areas you would really enjoy. One of the more famous ones is the West highland way. Definitely some more technical sections on that would be right up your street. Happy Hanging.
It is a bucket list dream. I'd eat butter tab fudge the whole way!!!!
@@shugemery Ha Ha plenty of sweet treats here to keep you going. If you do plan a trip over. Feel free to fire me any questions, I’ll keep you right. 🤙🏼
Long for these vids❤
