I loved Kushaq except for the rear seat experience for 3 adults in the rear.. Hope they fix this in this as most would prefer a comfortable 5 seater .. Looking forward to this .. Kudos to Skoda for the right move ..
I got a feeling, rear seat is going to be much comfortable in terms of visibility. Same engine as Kushaq and yet lighter by few is a good start too. Now i hope they dont fumble in the pricing
I've always found SUVs based on the MQB-A0IN platform to look more like compact cars. The Kylaq is a great example of this platform's potential. The next-generation Kushaq might benefit from a different Volkswagen platform or even a platform from Mahindra & Mahindra if the proposed deal is finalized. Incidentally, I find the rear wiper to be an eyesore.
Be honest, when you drove it, how was the performance of the AC? so many kushaq owners had issues with the AC, have they updated it or fixed it with this car?
I always felt, 1.0L was not perfect for the Kushaq and also the the platform was too narrow for it to compete against cretas and seltos's. What happened was we got a neither this nor that. But right now, I think this will be right right fit. I seriously have this gut feeling that it can eat the sonet, venue, nexon all day along. AND I MIGHT UPGRADE FROM MY 2015 POLO. This has all in making for another cult LEGEND. Imagine a Monte-Carlo version of this!
It is a turbo engine not a Na engine.. it's more powerful then base petrol that comes in Creta and seltos.. and can easily beat both in drag races.. also when tuned to stage 1 it can produce like 140 bhp and around 220-230 nm torque .. if someone wants extra power..
@@ShobhitTechVideo I never talked about power .. I was talking about the back space for 3 people and the perceived bigger proportion. That is the reason why it lost to the Koreans.

@@powerdriftofficial thinking as a layman 20 cms longer doesn't matter. The kushaq and taigun are already narrow ones. I believe they will continue being aspirational products with 1.5L+DSG whereas Kylaq is which normies would go for.
One of the best reviews and thanks for this. If the kerb weight is less than 40 kgs compared to Kushaq, are we NOT to expect a sub 10 sec, 0-100 kmph performance figures?
When will it be available in the market? Did Skoda mentioned any timeline for expected delivery? Already confused with Venue, Sonet and Nexon, expecting to be bought in Jan 2025
This car will be going to rock the market and gonna eat up the sales of nexon and sonet venue if Škoda priced it strategically….i own the slavia 1 L top model….and after hearing that same engine transmission and suspension gonna be offered in this car I’m getting butterflies. Way to go Škoda!
Really hope the emphasis on 'restrained' at the end is a nod to the pricing and not the feature set. Skoda aren't going to make a dent in this market without a comprehensive set of features that compares to the likes of the 3XO, Nexon and the 2025 Venue (which will be all decked up as well)
People on forums are already discussing on whether to cancel the 3XO booking due to the never ending wait time and go for this, but this will only add many more months to the wait
Keep the aspire man. I was looking for something new in the market but newer cars are not as well made anymore. Better save up and buy 2 segments above for it to be considered an UPGRADE.
no they are not same.. it is newer one with more efficency.. the polo gt 1.0 was like not good with mileage.. but this one is.. but because it is more efficient .. you have to give full trottle to rev the engine up.. but polo gt can do with little less trottle.. but on full trottle mileage should be same for both engines.. also when driven for mileage this can give like 20 kmpl.. if you are talking about polo 1.0 MPI engine this one is like 50% more powerful with same mileage.. this is tsi engine not mfi in base polo..
