This is my first time in Pai, Northern Thailand and I was amazed by how cute this little mountain town was...and also by how many foreigners were there. Nestled up a crazy winding road about 3hrs from Chiang Mai, this small town has a population of only about 4,000 people, but it is a very popular place for travelers looking to get away from it all. It has a very hippy, bohemian, creative vibe going on and is great for people who want to see more remote natural beauty in Thailand.
