That old musician couple have been there for years. I got my pic with them like 5 years ago. Also had some of the best ribs ever, halfway down the main street on the left. Pai is definitely a cool little spot.

I love it very much. what you eat It's a piece of dough that's grilled, black, topped with sesame seeds, sugar and condensed milk. It's called Khao Pook! 😋

Hi Chris, after watching ur channel right from fking first video, i visited koh Samui in november 2022...i went big budha....i looked over towards moonstone...took few photos...all i got to say is u r the real deal. I lived in Canada for almost a year on a IT project... I loved canadians...i stilll have friends.

"Steamed ribs" = Grilled Pork Belly. LOL. Fun video Chris. We also loved the walking street in Pai. Different selection from Chiang Mai and the South and that tea house with the clay pots served the best ginger tea.

Those little girls playing instruments reminded me of something, in Pattaya or Bangkok do you have any recommendations on any places I can go to just chill and just listen to traditional music or watch some martial arts? I mean granted Im there for the party and girls but I do love to collect martials weapons and instruments from the places I go so a suggestion for the more traditional would be great
Traditional music is kinda rare I’m Thai and I don’t see much of it but usually you can find on night market in chiangmai or maybe some event on the north of Thai. 😊

Great tip on 7-11 Chris, we had the same problem in Krabi in 2018 and did just the same with the trash 🗑🙏💚🙏
How about a video on the pros and cons of 3 or 4 beers a night....
Was in that same food vendor street 12th-16th Dec and felt partial to a double burger, just as a change from Thai food which I truly adore. Unfortunately the buger was deplorable, perhaps the worst I've ever had and very costly at $5-6.

The thing I like about Pai is that they cater to the budget (poor young travellers) and you can get some good cheap food in small quantities. Chris do hippies still exist?

The last time I was in Pai was in 1999. A small hut filled village with very few tourists. The restaurant I ate at was so good that I would just randomly choose off of the menu without reading t. Everything was amazing.
