I feel like Harley is going to be reaaaaallly dangerous to be next to ..... She is going to manipulate and control Joker to an extreme level. Just look at her expression trying to convince about from everything, when she says "It's okay baby, let's give the people what they want". Also, in the last part, I felt also that. She starts singing and then he sings along.. almost like following her behaviour, idk, something like that.
Fun fact about Gaga in this: she was reportedly the musical consultant for the movie. She was responsible for guiding the film's musical choices, guiding the artists during the performances and also helping to record these scenes.

Oh wow really cool that makes sense! And yeah, that's a pretty good prediction i wouldn't be surprised if that's the direction they take!

We see in this trailer that Harley emulates the "Joker smiling as he enters the elevator" scene. That elevator is in Arthur's old apartment building, where his neighbor was Sophie (Zazie Beetz' character). In the first Joker movie, that scene happens right after the big plot twist involving Sophie (those who've seen the movie know damn well what it is). Since we never see Sophie again, some people were left wondering whether or not Arthur had killed her. Both Joaquin Phoenix and Todd Philips later clarified, well before anyone knew there would even be a sequel--no, he didn't.
Since Sophie will be appearing in this new movie, I'm going to make a prediction: when Harley smiles as she enters the elevator, she _will_ have just killed Sophie. My guess is that her justification will be one of the oldest, simplest reasons given throughout history for one human to murder another: "You got too close to my Special Someone."

Who cares if this is a cash in.
    It's Gaga and Phoenix.
And this movie is based on Killing joke. So It's basis is definitely in the comics.
