@@bads4905 I swear y'all just be saying shit spreading fake news lol Netflix won 23 Emmy's last year and tied with HBO for most wins in 2018. Castlevania potentially not being nominated for an Emmy has literally nothing to do with the fact that it's on Netflix.
Dracula never really wanted to kill Alucard in the first place. Every time he exposed his claws in the fight he made a fist and just punched him instead of slashing his throat and killing him. AND he didn't feed in ages so hes way weaker than his prime.
Sitting in his fathers chair (who he recently murdered), having visions of his childhood self in the hallway with his mother. Yeah... Kinda just wish Alucard went back to sleep at that point.
Here's the thing, Alucard was fighting an insane, suicidal, Dracula and still getting his ass kicked. I can't even imagine how badass he would have been at full power.
@@touchingisjustthefirststep If you Google it not to come off sounding rude there should be some articles on. The director spoke about wanting to do it sometime close to the middle or end of last year.
Dracula's voice actor is underrated af. Jesus... I felt his pain in those last few lines. I still tear up in that scene. Such a powerful moment. The man came back just long enough for the monster to be killed.
I've got issues here and there with Castlevania as a series, but this episode in it's entirety is not one of them. Starts beautiful with the Blood Moon, gets hype with the Bloody Tears fight, gets interesting with Dracula saving Isaac, goes NUTS with the Dracula fight, and gets supremely sad with Dracula's death. Back to front, this episode is nothing but series highlights.
i waited 27 years for a castlevania serious project...and 28 to hear bloody tears... i cried at 2 seconds after recognizing it... would be on 3:52 of this video... and i remember a friend watching the episode the next day... who paused and screamed "fucking bloody tears man!!! holy shit!!!!!!!" hahaha
I'd like to add on here, Dracula was under a handicap. He was weakening from not taking blood, literally starving himself yet he was STILL strong enough to control the castle (which Sypha, a SCHOLAR OF MAGIC had difficulty controlling) cow any vampire that was face to face with him, and kicked the trio's ass for majority of the fight. I'd be scared to see what he was capable of at FULL strength.
Being able to turn into wolves is actually a classic vampire ability that unfortunately isn’t as famous as the bat unless you’ve done your research and/or read Bram Stoker’s Dracula. They could also turn into mist/fog. The one fact people really forget is that a vampire can only turn into these things during certain times of the night For Castlevania, turning into a Wolf is unique to Alucard and Dracula only
@@shootingreal5945 Right? Yo just to inform you guys. This show did win BTVA awards for voice acting and another award for trevor belmont’s voice actor but I mean maybe you think it deserves more... I dunno if animations get the same awards as live action or not.
Anyone who thinks Dracula is/was a good dude you’re a psycho. This man was willing to commit genocide on the entire human race over a woman. If he’d left it at those responsible ok cool I get it but you’re out here getting innocent men, women, children and unborn children murdered.
Tragedy can drive even good men to do bad things. Crazy things. He’s not a saint by any means. He doesn’t deserve to be forgiven for his actions, but he would have done good in the world had Lisa not died. Alucard admits as much and it would likely have happened. Look at this objectively. He gave up so much for love and lost so much for love. I personally think he was not a good man, but could have done good.
He is a immortal vampire who has been around for hundreds of years. And they've been Hunting him for centuries. He met a woman who claimed what he believed about humanity was wrong and he listened to her since he loved her. Then he started traveling like a human at her request and it caused the love of his life to die by the hands of those she claimed were good and needed his guidance. He just broke.
ACGearsandArms No arguments here, definitely not saying he didn’t have the potential to be a good man but given what happened it just didn’t turn out that way unfortunately.
