its 5 minutes long its not very well stractured scenes are reapeated multiple time if that actually had an anime series this intro would need some improvments whithout saying that its bad by any means

I just can do a list of everything that is cool in this: 1: Hollow knight's music are already bangers on their own so mixing them with such skill can only make another banger. 2: The animations are amazing, I love the differents styles which all fits the idea : "turning Hollow knight into an anime" (special mention to the one who included Quirell's teleportation skill). 3: The lyrics. Just the lyrics. They're not only amazingly written (in japanese and english), they also talk about actual lore from the game and one of my favourites characters : Pale King. 4: The voice give absolute chills. 5: The simple idea of making an anime opening for Hollow Knight. This video makes me want to watch an Hollow Knight anime for real, it makes me think of a last season opening that go deep into lore and sad parts but also act as a reminder of the past events. To conclude, I would put this as my phone ring if it wasn't forcing me to listen it all when people call me.
If I was an professional animator, I would definitely make a animated series of hollow knight and this would definitely be the intro to every episode, such a perfect melody.
Ah, this is still pretty underrated. Really loved how you messed with the grimm troupe motif. There's not a lot of renditions of that soundtrack out there that struck me as appropriate or bringing justice to the given material. You also developed each individual song really well by amplifying, transforming, and expanding-upon the different rhythms, dynamics, and emotions, and adding some choice personal touches as well. A year later, listening to this, and I realize you put a lot of effort into this one. Really enjoyed the sequence and structure of this composition. Sublime!!
I love how your voice/lyrics is on par with the same beat as the original music. Like Greenpath's beat 2:55. I would LOVE if Hollow Knight got turned into an anime. However, that's not gonna happen since that means one ending is going to have to be canon while Team Cherry said that "Every ending is canon in its own way."

MAN! I seriously thought this was the opening song to the new anime "ninja kamui". They have the same vibe its kinda crazy. I've listened to this like 100 times so its weird i got it mixed up. Putting that aside, i cannot praise you enough for this its so good!

As always this doesn't disappoint, the instrumentals are amazing and some of the lyrics being the thoughts of the vessel is interesting but still REALLY cool! I love how its unclear which knight the lyrics are talking about, just like how when you play the game, its unclear who the Hollow Knight is until the end. Its such a small detail but it really makes the difference, it could even be referring to them both.

With the lyric I naturally leaned more towards the Hollow Knight since they had a more interesting story but I went back to knight for the verses to tie back in a lot of the story and game elements ^-^ Which is why the lyric contains a lot of contradictions with having no thoughts but then having thoughts of being hollow.

It's obviously amazing, though the Knight seems to be showing emotions. The Knight is a vessel, created to be emotionless to contain the power of the Radiance.
True- but most of this song is based on the "Hollow Knight" who has thoughts despite their thoughtless nature, hints the contradictions of having thoughts of thoughtlessness in the song ^-^
I don't know if you are just making the lyrics from the game play but the song moves with the lore perfectly and gives the chills of an anime in a game I actually loved
The Abyss, Radiance, and Dream Nail sections were SO COOOOOOOLLLL idk who animated those but they look awesome. The Abyss climb and fall was one of my favorite moments in the game.

Ok: 1 this is probably one of the best things I've heard, 2 here a couple of fandoms I think would be awesome if they got their animefied opening: Murder Drones: a sci-fi horror comedy show by Glitch Productions here on UA-cam they currently have only two episodes but their going strong Warhammer 40k: the pinnacle of grimdark franchises with insane complex lore The EXE fandom: yes I know they sound cringe but believe me if you don't count the high concentration of awful people there they are an extremely dedicated group of people who are capable of making incredible stuff

Ok: 1 this is probably one of the best things I've heard, 2 here a couple of fandoms I think would be awesome if they got their animefied opening:
Murder Drones: a sci-fi horror comedy show by Glitch Productions here on UA-cam they currently have only two episodes but their going strong
Warhammer 40k: the pinnacle of grimdark franchises with insane complex lore
The EXE fandom: yes I know they sound cringe but believe me if you don't count the high concentration of awful people there they are an extremely dedicated group of people who are capable of making incredible stuff
