I have the Rock Island double stack 10mm 16 round version. I reload my own ammo, so I shoot "real" 10mm loads. Not watered down to .40 cal. It isn't a handful at all. Shoots nice and smooth. If you keep a lookout, you can find 10mm ammo for relatively "cheap". I bought a bunch of self defense ammo on sale at optics planet that was very reasonable. When you get a chance, buy a box of the hot ammo and compare. It's noticeable in a good way. Enjoy!
Rob it is a shame that we have to explain everything we say or do but you would think there is so much people that don't understand anything it's like teaching preschool I just don't understand myself why people don't soak no more education in than they do but all that said keep on keeping on and God Bless.

Yep, the gun stores almost double the price of ammo compared to an academy or other sporting good stores.
