Hi Josh, how do you compare the 16 Pro Flyknit upper to the older Mercurial Elites like the Superfly 4. Are they similar or the Elites are still better? Also looking forward to your review for the 16 Pro TF as a lot of us only play in turf boots.
I went to try the pros and they feel very soft. Very tight like last year's mercurial but to me the upper feels like a leather in terms of slippery and the upper feels great. Definitely doesn't feel like grip knit in fact it's very slippery but still a great shoe. Studs feel cheaper too
I’ve always been a fan of the F50, which is my favorite adidas football boots. I mostly wear Nike; but these pro in particular haven’t worked for me in terms of fit. Had lots of space around the ankles. In my experience I’d go with the Vapor 16. Either elite or pro. Got my elite pair from the blackout pack and they really did a good job
@@riichobamin7612 fair enough. Honestly I like the FG/MG stud pattern on the academy boots better than AG-pro pattern on the Pro and Elite models. Mercurial Academy boots are far away the best value boots on the market IMO.
something i found missing here is that the f50 while technically also being the FG version can be used better/safer on AG. buy those vapors only if you never use them on AG/turf
I had the Phantom Luna 2 pros (just a GX 2 with a higher sock) and they were solid but after about 6-7 months of use (granted they were getting beat every day) the outsole started coming off and ripping which I guess is to be expected but they were still a solid boot

I really like all your reviews but is there an issue with your scale ? Your previous review for the f50 pro thats you did before weighted at 205 grams, now it shows 209 grams.
I'd have to go back and check, but I would bet I weighed other foot in the pair. Manufacturing tolerances are far from perfect, so weight variance of a few grams from shoe to shoe, even within the same pair isn't uncommon. 4 grams is almost nothing in the grand scheme of an entire football boot.
If you want a padded, more leather-like upper, the Messi version would be a good choice. If not, these are more along the lines of what most people would expect from a pair of speed boots
I bought the Pro version with MG sole, I was disappointed by the weight of the shoe which is 260 g (size 44 EU), Maybe it's the sole's fault? I also add that I got huge blisters behind my ankle... maybe the FG version is different? How can I solve the blister problem?
The pro is the model under the elite which is the highest model. The pros will be more expensive but use better materials than the leagues by far. The construction is also different.

Older i get, less i can tolerate budget boots. Tend to hurt way too much, esp at heel.
They also Updated the IC models. I already bought them abd they feel great. Would be curious about your thoughts about that as well

The Crazyfast+ would be a great choice if you were after something as lightweight and thin as possible.

I haven’t tried them myself, but I would assume the soleplate is where the extra weight comes from
