I think you are seeing a shift in the offense and who they pick, as I imagine Rodgers was set in his ways after all these years and a young QB gives the team a chance to branch out at try some different/new things. You used to see players of Reed's stature, as he is nearly a mirror of Greg Jennings so far as measurables are concerned. The comparison goes further as Reed started his Collegiate career at Western Michigan before transferring to Michigan state.
Coming back to this after a season, what a draft. Could have drafted Brian Branch but instead they got Reed, Wicks, and Brooks. Branch is great but so are all 3 of what the packers ended off getting. Depending who you talk to all 4 are at the very least second to first round players.

I like to look at the draft as measuring players for the "uncoachables". Their character the effort they have shown on the field and the willingness to be a team player. Nobody truly knows if a player will be great or not but you look at their athletic ability and their character and I think all 3 of these guys fit that mold to a Tee.
I love our draft so far. Think they could be nice quality picks. Gotta wait and see but I’m not disappointed. Wish we would go draft for Safety or try to trade some pick to Arizona for baker if we still could.

Musgrave was on trajectory to get around 800-900 yards last season before his injury (2 games he had about 170 yards). Oregon State was just beginning to use him as a primary target as you can see if you watch the Fresno and Boise game - he gets a lot of targets and was uncoverable. It just sucks that OSU didn’t feature him as much the year before since their offense operated differently and they didn’t realize how good Musgrave was yet. Luke is an ascending former multi sport athlete so I’m not worried about how well he’s gonna develop. He for sure has that attention to detail and will get better as a dual threat. Just wanna see him shift his mindset better when he goes from route runner to ball carrier - he doesn’t seem to turn that switch on to make a move aside from trying to run away from guys. Hopefully he learns from Kraft and finds how to be more creative after the catch. Lots to be excited about for him though nevertheless.
I disagree, he's the best WR to come out of MSU in a long time. His stats do not represent how good he is, Thorne was notorious for over throwing WRs. Watch his tape, he's fantastic at 50/50 balls despite his size, he plays more like a 6'5" guy. He has a real knack for finding the ball and making adjustments mid air to come down with it. He is a really QB friendly WR that is also dangerous in open space. I would compare him to Amon Ra St. Brown, underrated smaller WR with good hands and route running skills.
I like the fact they got Jordan Love help. I believe they had great picks. Your right, we’ll know in about 2/3 years. Keep it going Packers. Go Pack Go!
