A useful How to Guide Armagan. The lane keep assist in the Honda's I've tested I tend to switch it off, agreed on dual carriageways and motorways then it is useful but around town or country roads in the likes of the Jazz (crosstar too), E and H-RV I switch it off. Annoying having to deactivate it everytime too.

I have 11th Gen Civic, it’s an Automatic Transmission the touring version, in Malaysia we call it the Civic FE 1.5 Turbo, only come with an AT.
But I wasn’t wondering, how the auto cruise control works in Manual Transmission for this Type-R? On which gear will the ACC works? if the car in front of you slow down, do you need to shift down ur gear knob & pressing the clutch like you would normally do on any MT cars? (I drove an MT car before I bought my Civic

Hi! Need help to identify Warning (Orange large rectangular shape) shown within the Speedometer video time 2:15 / 7:31 + Steering Assist. Thank you! Appears to let you know your vehicle is no longer in the proper lane or drifting and wants immediate attention to grab the steering wheel to stay in the lane. I guess....

If I had the Type R, Honda Sensing would be jealous because I'll be driving her myself all the time! 😂

Nice video! Personally I have not even tried the cruise control or assist in my CTR yet. Just go old school manual!!
The one thing that is annoying me is the orange warning that my hands are not on the wheel properly. Happens all the time, I must not grip the wheel hard enough for Honda’s liking. I would disable that if I knew how!!

Cheers Barry, I’ll read through the manual surrounding Honda sensing and see if it’s possible to disable any of the stuff - Given you have to do a full on pedal dance to just turn off the traction control ahah

@@ArmaganDemiral I had a quick look myself after watching your video. I couldn’t see anything specific, but maybe if you turn off most of the Honda sensing you lose the steering wheel alert as a by product!! Fine with it all on motorways but it’s a pain in town / back roads!!

Very nice Civic Type R. An excellent choice. Bought my wife a 2022 Civic Touring in October 2022. The one thing I dislike most about Honda vehicles is Idle-Stop. The 2022 Civic has the latest ADAS (Honda Sensing) which is good. However, I drive a 2023 Toyota Camry XSE V6 which has Toyota Safety Sense "TSS" 2.5 Plus, and it is so much better than Honda Sensing by a long shot. Honda Sensing is terrible compared to Toyota Safety Sense. Okay! I appreciate your video review topic on Honda Sensing because I had thought I was missing something that would actually up the ante to change my mind about Honda Sensing. Unfortunately, it did not. Sorry Honda but you have a long ways to go in the Safety feature department beyond numerous Airbags to catch up with Toyota. It is a shame to say that Hyundai even has better Safety features than Honda. Yes! there is one thing in common between Honda and Toyota that is disliked is Lane Keeping Assist. The reason is when I want to change driving lanes and the car gives a little fight, tug, or nug to stay in my current lane and it is annoying therefore, I turn it off. What does work for Honda Sensing but not very well is Sign Recognition and Blind Side Monitoring. Note: Honda's Bose 12 Speaker sound system vs Toyota's JBL Premium 9 Speaker w/sub woofer sound system neither is all that great as rating each vehicle with 4 stars for their basic 6 Speaker system. Then you pay for the upgraded Bose or JBL which are supposed to be Premium but in reality, getting like another 1.5 star added to the basic. Therefore, you are getting an average or slightly improved audio system that is still a mile away from being Premium. What a waste of our money.
