- After Starship S24 B7 launch and then exploded, Ship 25 and Booster 9 will try to succeed on where it's predecessor tried to succeed. These prototypes and Stage Zero received number of upgrades and most notably. Hot staging and Water Deluge System.

Can you imagine being the first one to make it to Mars?
That animation will be in March 2024
Looks great, just FYI the outer ring on the engines on the booster are not able to be relit during flight so it would just be the center engines that would perform boost back and "landing" I'm pretty sure they would attempt a slower touchdown with the ship if it survives reentry and not just bellyflop if possible xD.
good work, the end - I think as well - would be different, not only a crash landing w/o relighting the raptors...
Ship is supposed to perform a hard landing on the initial test flights
based on IFT-1's flight plan, Starship would bellyflop straight into the ocean as a hard landing, no relight of the engines etc, we can only assume the same goes for IFT-2

Nice booster design with hot staging ring for starship ignition
Thank you
Hate to be the critic, but, whoops! @ 2:32 you have the outer twenty Raptors lighting for the boost-back burn. Those don't have any onboard CPOVs to spin them up. It's the inner engines that relight during the flight. The outer ring is only used during the initial boost.
I was going to point this out, but I found your comment, so have my like instead.
3:36 That moment when engines turn off and starship is just floating in the space is just so epic.
That was great!
Very beautiful, great job!!
Wow. The details looks very different, in a good way. I was very surprised. Great work! :)
Only in a perfect world would it go this smoothly. Their working on it though! Go spacex!
schön gemacht, Besten Dank 👍
hoffen wir das es so kommt, das wäre ein voller Erfolg und ein großer Schritt nach vorne für SpaceX.
Not bad at all! You will get some feedback about the technical details but a lot of time and effort went into this and it looks pretty good! Thanks!
WOW, beautiful!
Seeing SS plunge belly first into the sea was so funny idkw 🤣
nice
Great!
Well done, thanks
1:57-2:16 was soo cool! Well done mate!
This is cool
SpaceX likes overlapping test as much as possible.
So, they haven't *said* this, but imagine Booster acting out more of a faux-landing/catch, rather than just standing on the water.
That is, boosting back as close as the flight plan allows - to the point one should see the launch site imo. And at some small height - 50 feet maybe - coming to a complete controlled hover. And sticking it. Just staying right there. Ten full seconds of just controlled hover.
*Then* engines out and crash into the sea.
There's plenty of spare payload capacity to devote to extra fuel, that's not a concern. Yes, they might put this off to IFT3. Shrugs.
Very nice!
Muito bom parabéns
Other than a few minor details already pointed out, this is pretty cool! Far better than anything I can do so I'm impressed! I hope they do the simulated "catch" for both vehicles before splash down.
Nice work!!!
Cool, but didn't they say they were going to attempt a soft controlled landing in the ocean of S25 this time?
Afaik, they planned it for third flight
Awesome job! Look forward to your future videos! Keep up the good work ❤
Nice one 🤩
Thanks
First
no belly flop?
That’s look very nice. Really good job. ❤
Mostly accurate.
"Soon" (tm)
Why don't the grid fins turn vertical when taking off? This would seem to be more aerodynamic to me. Horizontal for landing, I understand. Just curious.
Superheavy Grid fins dont turn vertical due to complexity and made it simple.
1:18 cut to the liftoff
Anyone know why they’re not gonna try and land the starship?
Because it is going to explode.(it exploded)
debió encender los motores para aterrizar. no creo que caiga así.
I don’t think the starship will belly flop…. It wouldn’t survive that… controlled splashdown 😢
Don't worry, it won't be landing at all. The next one will also explode. Maybe the next two? Three? I don't know if Space-X will make it that far, really, or if Space-X will survive even this one(second one). I am pretty sure this is the nail in the coffin of Space-X.
Might want to delete it. It's about to de stack
