Historic Route 66 Road Trip Kingman, Arizona - Amboy, California

We start this Route 66 #7 adventure in Kingman Arizona and take in the Route 66 sights there including the famous restored water tanks, Mr. D's Diner, and Locomotive Park. We travel the famous, technical, and dangerous Sitgreaves Pass while checking out Cool Springs Station, Shaffer Fish Bowl Springs, and a gunfight at the famous restored miner's town of Oatman, AZ. Then we travel into California through Needles and work our way to Amboy, CA to speak with the cafe attendant and check out the famous restored neon sign saying Amboy Cafe Motel. We boondock dispersed camp at nearby Amboy Crater.

Good news Amboy soft reopening. I got to go stay in one of the cabins, and have a Burger and Fries on route 66, and get a kick. Thank you, good job stay safe ALL

Thanks for the comment. When I was at Roy’s there was a guy who was bicycle touring and he was able to stay in one of the cabins.
