noisy cars and bikes rumbling? lmao worse shit than that, buddy. Karens and loud trains. Glad that's not where I live there but do feel sorry for people who just moved there.
I live in a 800 years old town, when I see american towns like this I get scared. There are almost no pedestrians and there's so much space for cars. I'd probably carry a gun there too.
I'm interested in relocating to Kingman hows the local economy there doing? I'm in Tucson currently and its definitely "Lackluster" down here as far as trucking work goes. Can You share some insight?
Peter, not sure how old you are. We visited Laughlin earlier today. Only a little over 1/2 hour away. Lots of great casinos and restaurants. Vegas is close by too! Give it a chance brother.
Time goes by quicker than you think. Do the best where you are. You're lucky in that right now, parents have the most responsibilities regarding housing, etc., Not you. It's tough moving to a new place, but it could be good once you grow more comfortable. Keep pushing forward. -)
how's everything as of now, bro? damn it i hate this effin' website, it deleted the important response i was typing for you and have to do it all over again. i was saying i stopped by kingman because my parents got a job too but only for 3 weeks and damn, it is the worst town ever. i'm overjoyed that we finally left. i kind of blame myself because my family mentioned their company gave them the choice to either go to kingman or to a south california town named blythe on the border to arizona. blythe is so much better and i screwed up. but i didn't tell my parents to go for that town cuz i thought it would make me feel guilty but sometimes it is a good thing to persuade your parents to make "sacrifices" even if it interferes in a way with a few things. but sometimes, it has to be done for you to be comfortable. i mean i was getting depressed while in kingman and i'm really gonna try to have few damn drinks to ease up lol not trying to exaggerate but i just couldn't take it anymore. but then again, if you're not ok yourself lately, you can try speaking to your parents about a possible way of working somewhere else. we got transferred to california yesterday, not to blythe but more to the central area and there are multiple job opportunities here for your parents for sure. all they have to do is follow hwy 40 out of kingman by going all east, then hwy 58 until you guys reach bakersfield. i love bakersfield! i totally recommend that city or they can try either fresno or visalia. i think you'd like visalia. talk to your family. best of luck to you, man.
@Beautynchaos 724 Half the population is either using drugs, selling drugs or on probation from drug offenses. Economy struggling and irresponsible COVID behavior from half of the citizens of Kingman making any recovery from the pandemic pretty hopeless.
We moved here from Michigan 5 years ago after retiring. Great place and virtually no snow!
Virtually no snow! I like the sound of that. I'm considering moving out that way with my job (from Kentucky).
