Streptocarpus are so underrated. Mine has massive leaves and is forever flowering. They love bright morning light and need regular watering. When they bloom, the old flowers turn a little brown and I cut the new baby leaves near the centre of the plant, to allow for more flowers....similar to African violets. Hope you enjoy all through spring and summer. Jo...NZ
FYI, your Asparagus fern can handle much more light than you would (probably) expect! We have some growing in our hot Southern California backyard and they do great.

Hi Fern! Your videos are some of my favorite. I wanted to let you know I also have a black pagoda out a lipstick plant and she really loves bright, indirect light. She’s off to the side of the south facing window and won’t stop blooming.
Love the updates! And still think your krimson queen is gorgeous! If I can manage to stop rotting all my hoya’s, I hope I can get a nice full luscious pot of my krimson queen too! Hope you are feeling better soon!
You’ve made me realize I have a habit of over potting when a plant needs a new home. I think it was the biggest contributing factor in my tendency to over water 💦 💗 so thank you 🌿
Soltech lights are honestly the best. I was hesitant to buy one and now it’s my favourite light ever. I want the vita bulbs just for my regular room lights

Beautiful video!!! You have such an amazing variety of plants!! What is your favorite way to acquire plants? Local nurseries? Etsy? Online wholesaler? You’re inspiring me to make my home a more beautiful planty place for me and my daughters❤
My favourite way is through trades. But I have acquired my plants through lots of different ways - online and in person plant shops, private sellers on FB, Etsy, & importing.
Hi, I´m sure you will have fun with your little orchid. but If you have trouble with the traditional bark medium they are in (I had that) then you can give moss a try. I repottet some into moss and they really seem to like it. I also pottet some into water but that doesn´t seem to work for me as well (might also be due to the cold weather), so I probably gonna change them to moss too.
@@wildfern I followed miss orchid girls tutorial , packed the moss really light and fluffy and covered it with bark (I reused the old one) and put the clear pot in a cover pot to prevent alga growth. I find it really easy to check the moister level and water when needed. you can see condensation, the color of the roots or squeeze the pot and hear the crunch of dry moss :D
Hi Fern, I just love seeing all your gorgeous plants! I fulfill my plant wishes through you! Thanks. I have quite a few plants too although all in my dining room as it’s the only room with good light. 😊
Important to not use any chemicals when you are using beneficial bugs. Not for a couple of weeks before and then obviously not during the time you have them in order to not kill them.
