I applied for a COE to Thailand, my plan is to visit Thailand at the end of this month. I am happy that things are returning to normal somewhat.
How could anyone be coming on 1 July? If they have to fill out a COE which may not come for 20 days and application starts on June 28, wouldn’t you want to be sure that this is going to happen? How could you book before the 18th of July? I was planning on coming 1 July but that seemed totally unrealistic and now I was thinking of coming on 6 July but if I have to take into account that the COE may not be approved for 20 days… I wouldn’t book anything before July 18? But the Thai government makes it sound like you can come 1 July. This does sound extremely insane.

Very helpful information! Thanks Teya. My plans haven't changed. I'm still not visiting until other countries, specifically Singapore (yes, it's a country, too!), Vietnam, and Cambodia remove quarantines as well. Obviously, I'd rather not spend my time confined to one hotel or area for weeks!

Hi Teya, can you tell us about the updated covid-19 restrictions in phuket? For example, restaurants, shopping, walking street, beach and other activities.
I hope no more quarantine in Nov. Too much planning is needed just for 2 weeks vacation😖

Good morning from ASQ, Teya. The coe application was really easy to use and was a lot easier than what they had in January, the last time I came to Thailand. Honestly, I think it would be almost as easy to apply for a 60 day tourist visa, rather than doing the 45 day Visa exempt entry. Since with the VISA exempt, you can only get a 15-day extension well with the tourist visa, you can get a 30-day extension allowing you to stay for a full 90 days. You basically have to get all of the same documentation together for both, so why not just take the extra step?
The thing I don't understand is the requirement to have three separate tracking applications installed on your phone: Thailand Plus, Morchana, and Thaichana. It seems like a little bit of Overkill to me. As it stands, different ministries require you to have different applications installed, so it's not like there is a single "Ministry of Phone Apps" to de-conflict the requirements 55.
But, this is Thailand, so I get used to this type of thing 55

Question ❓ what if you come by,sea ⛵ on private yacht or sailboat. This includes insurance and Visa's .for instance if you been sailing all around pacific. Plus wife is from St.Lucia. both of us can't have vaccine for health reasons . Plus we've already bought a villa in thailand. Plus a condo unseen . My wife is trying to have me buy a island in thailand for business. What are all the steps . Bank statements for bank there in thailand ? No sees my privacy of income total amount.
My country is not on the sanbox list. Is it possible to travel to a listed country first and from there to Phuket?

I have decide on your advice and consideration to delay. Two questions I would like to ask the COE to be produce is it in paperwork to travel if using your services how is that done. Especially as I am not that clear on smart phones. I think its great you offer with your friend these travel services. So my second question on the travel insurance could you give more info on age cover and longer period cover or possible annual cover. Got a question concerning insurance....
Before I come to Thailand again I always purchase worldwide insurance excluding USA/WEST INDIES, this covers me for all medical aspects also other aspects that might occur whilst traveling....
Will I have to buy the extra Covid-19 insurance which you have mentioned in this video ?
Will be asking for your help with Stella concerning my stay in Thailand especially length of stay as don't know if it's 45 days or back to 30 days again....

Among the confusion, submission, and completion of all forms, it could dissuade potential tourists which might affect the success of this program. I will try to comply but the process may take longer than I have. My flight leaves during the evening of July 15 and arrival in the early morning of July 17, 2021, in Phuket from America. Realistically, the processing time of the COE could be 10 working days or more?. I realize that the Thai government is putting its best foot forward, as they may always do, especially during Covid time. Hopefully, I can get the documents required, uploaded, and approved on time? An alternative to submitting online could be to hand-deliver ALL documents upon arrival to customs, provided the COE is not processed and approved prior to departure since many people made non-refundable flight reservations? Personnally, I will lose my nerves doing this. You say you can do it for us... that would be good ! Of course, I must wait for second injection of COVID vaccine in order to have vax certificate... but I already have hotel and flight bookings. So... if once I have vax certificate, how many coffees would you like for doing the CoE for me ? see... I also am very practical... LOL

Is this still required in Oct 3. And how much is your service to take care of everything needed ? I am an American living in Thailand. But i need to go to America for a few weeks and then come back. I have a proof of vaccination paper from Thailand. I don't have exact travel dates yet. I am just trying to figure things out. I heard that starting this month in oct. That people could self quaranteen in Pattaya and jomtien when arriving. But i don't know if that is true or has been approved yet. I keep waiting hoping things are going to get easier. Hey very good information. I have just one more question. What is about the children? We want to enter with the Phuket Sandbox Programme and I have done the COE for us as parents (we are waiting for approval). I just wanted to fill the form for our Kids, they are both under the age of 6 and they have no vaccination. The COE-form wants me to give a proof of vaccination, I do not know why, do you know anything about that?

Teya, one issue, the PCR test is very costly. It's over $100.00 per test per person and it requires 3 tests before you're free. It's over $300.00.. WOW!!

Actually the COE isn't that bad. I had mine within 3 days. The worst part was the 14 days quarantine. Not worth doing unless you're planning to stay for at least 60 days or live in Thailand. So the average tourist isn't going to come. As things stand here in Thailand. I personally don't think until the late part of this year. But that's depending on vaccination of Thai people. 🙏🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
Here is the latest problem in regards to going to Thailand. I’ve currently booked for July 26 to be there on the 28th in Phuket. So I thought I would do the seven and seven break up of hotels both our SHA plus hotels. I get an email from one of the hotels after I sent the confirmation showing I paid for the room for a week and my passport and what I get back is.... I have to stay in one hotel for 14 days. Where is the accurate information… It is not at the Chicago Thai Embassy website. I’ve had problems getting a visa I’ve had problems throughout dealing with this whole thing. If no one out there is insane… I think at this point it’s me.

With booking flights and insurance cover, say a full month in advance of filling in the COE form, what if I do not get the COE approval? As most flight bookings and hotel bookings are non-callable, thus I lose the flight and hotel monies.. Or if I book with yourself, and I cannot obtain the COE for no fault of my own, does your booking system payback all my monies?

Hi Teya. I asked the thai embassy here in Switzerland about COE (visa) but the embassy told me that if I'll stay in thailand less as 30 days (45days including quarantine) I don't need to ask for COE ( visa except). It's that true?

Today there are some bad news that KLM does not allow tourists to come to Thailand but is in strict criteria. I said I had Coe.Covid insurance, hotel asq and covid injections, but that doesn't matter. I took my friend on a trip At the airport called to pick me up, KLM refused to fly. Then why did he book and the money that should have arrived in Thailand 2 Aug. Trusted, booked another airline and they said the same thing.any suggestions

And we have to apply for a COE without the certainty of the Gazette, which still could technically not happen for some reason??? I have tried it for over a day now and still struggle. I don't think they want visitors to come. New note, all visitors have to pay in advance for covid test 3 times at the booking hotel. Fee is around 3000. baht each.

I have a question regarding insurance: I have a medical insurance from Canada for 1 million Canadian dollars which is valid for first 40 days when I am travelling abroad throughout the world. Is this insurance accepted by Thai authorities? Please let me know. Thank you. After 40 days I may have to purchase or if I retire in Thailand my insurance will cover medical/dental and optical expenses. I will have vaccination, and Covid 19 test before the arrival.
If you come on a 60 day tourist visa do you need to show hotel booking for all of 60 days or only for 14 day quarantine stay?

I have the video for Coe and it very easy to do it’s. You will need Covid insurance,you hotel SHA plus your flights. Don’t need visa if your stay less than 45 days. Then go on line to Thai embassy. Insurance 60 days £125.00 from luma insurance so easy. only taken 1 day
visa copy needs to be attached even if less less than 45 days. This was the advice I got by email from Thai embassy.

Both of you could have different rules because not everyone can come with visa exemption. Some countries need to apply visa for entering Thailand

I highly recommend you to fill the form as soon as you can because you never knew if you'll be rejected and ask for more and more documents or not. It's informed in the page before COE application that it'll take about 15 working days. You need to make a good plan including COE process.
U mentioned in ur utube, before filling up the COE form, we hv to book flight ticket n hotel, so what happen to our bookings if the coe approval result came late, and our ticket aldready due? Tqvm
If you have this concern, I suggest you to book the flight ticket which is refundable or change flight. And please give COE time for about 20 working days. All should be OK but if you apply COE today and fly tomorrow, you need to take your own risk becase COE inform that it'll take 15 working office days
On the CEO form, it asks which vaccine have you had, what if I have not had any vaccine, will the form let me continue, if not, then how do I proceed with the COE, Am I still accepted into Thailand without any vaccine, as long as I do the 14 days quarantine.?
