Just love watching you, your smile, your energy is beautiful. A wonderful soul 🙏🏽🥰
Thank you 💕💕💕💕💕
To get maximum benefits from the honey and lime/lemon juice, add them after simmering the dawa as it cools down, or when it’s warm/hot to your liking
Interesting! Thank you for sharing. I prefer my method, but you can follow yours too 🍭
This is actually true, I learnt not to put lemon to boil recently but to add the juice after the dawa is ready.
Jambo! Thank you for an excellent explanation and demo. I like that you showed the gas level and water simmering! In Kenya, have had it with garlic too, especially if you're sick. So for me I enjoy this version you made, unless I get sick then I would add garlic. I didn't know about the cloves! I use a microplane for the ginger WITH the skin on...tons of flavor and vitamins and no bitterness....but you remind me the mortar and pestle is good for releasing oils and such so will do that. I also turn off the gas when adding the lemon just because i fear a rolling summer would deplete the vitamins! And i may add bourbon/whisky (hot toddy!). Thanks again, from the US🎉🎉🎉❤❤
I have tried a dawa with garlic before at a friend. It is not my cup of tea, but I appreciated the nutrients it added to my cupful and body. Thank you so much for watching, I appreciate you!
A shot of whisky would go nicely with that if you are treating a cold. In Scotland we call it a hot toddy hehe
Delicious 🤩🤩🤩
We call it a hot toddy in America as well. It knocks out a cold nicely. Will try her recipe.
Yes! When I was in Kenya I had my Dawa with cognac... Best drink ever!!

Thank you😊
This is amazing
yeah, honey is the last ingredient to add. honey in boiling hot water wastes the honeys nutrients. other than that recipe is solid.
True.
Only some people prefer taste more than nutritional benefits, so.. That's another view to see it..
