Fun fact about 035 and 682. As the video states, 035 has a strong interest in 682. In the 682 video, it says that 682 has a good relationship with 079 who is a computer AI which is a good reaction you should do if you haven't done it yet. Anyways, 079 HATES 035 for that reason. In SCP Containment breach, 079 lets out every SCP EXCEPT for 035 who you can see with a host just stuck in it's cell who begs the player to let them out. I love SCP relationships like that as it gives them all more personality.
What I like most about this scp is that the use of the word "claimed" is heavily emphasized since they know its a little liar, and its essentially throwing a huge tantrum because it wants its privileges back, which is the reason they keep outright denying it. The end goal isnt to kill everyone, its to get a permanent host and THEN kill everyone, which is infinitely less preferable to humanity when the alternative is to just try and ride out its baby-rage
It's always nice to see the old SCPs getting some love. There are so many good ones that get ignored because they're too "normal" and "boring." Like SCP-882, which I again suggest you watch. I think you'll like it.
Yet SCP now has become convoluted as fuck with so many stupid ass reality warping shit and things that surpasses “narratives” or whatever. It was cool with 3812 but the Chinese branch just made it completely dumb.

The reason they would want to contain it is to keep a Broken Masquerade scenario from happening, but that's it. No mass-loss of life, no danger to peoples' personal safety, none of that. You might want to take a look at the SCP Sedition series, basically Interviews, by Tats TopVideos. Bit of their own personal canon in some respects, but it's an interesting watch and injects (in my opinion) much more personality into the franchise/these entities than readings of the site entries alone. The 035 and 682 interviews in particular are great.
