  • Hello and welcome to the last episode of our Dumb Luck playthrough of the original Fallout game. It all comes down to this: with the water chip found, and the master defeated, all that remains is to level his army and bring peace to the wasteland. Once we do that, we can go home a hero! ...A blindly lucky, stupid hero. Great!
Thank you for staying along for the whole ride! This marks the end of our Fallout playthrough! I may do another one in the future with a more competent character, if everyone wants more lore, more conversations, and an overall more comprehensive experience! Please like and subscribe for the next adventure! If you enjoyed this, you're gonna LOVE what's coming next!!

Playing this game for the first time when I was 13, the bad ending definitely kept me up at night.

@@ggworldwide1 yeah that 90’s cgi cutscene aesthetic is so fucked up. I wasnt born in 90’s but still ı like playing old games but holy shit cutscenes like this really have a way of keeping you up at night like you just said. Btw is there any possible outcome in which we get good endings for everyone/town in one walkthrough?

@@ozcet5641 there is! Basically you would have to do everything I did here, plus the Adytum questline I missed, and return a water chip to Necropolis. I'm debating if I should revisit this game in the future and do that, because I'd like to share as much of the lore as I can with people who haven't seen these games.

@@ggworldwide1 yeah exactly. Fallout 1 and 2 are the best lore fallout series ever had, even the dialogues feel a lot better. I like getting kicked out of my vault for literally nothing but then founding a village with my fellow followers or being a hero of what ncr before was, shady sands, instead ofstaying frozen for 200 years and looking for my son

@@ozcet5641 I agree wholeheartedly! A lot of tender love and care and passion went into these games. I'm sad that Van Buren never happened...but my hope is that if we bring enough attention to these games, maybe there's a chance it can still happen someday.

What kind of research are you working on? I'm working on my undergrad, premed route. I feel you on the anti-social struggle when subjected to a daily routine of isolation (work/academic/self). You can develop it like any perishable skill through getting out of your own comfort zone, but you can lose it just as fast depending on your confidence and time spent away from it. I've always struggled with it, and I noticed the perishable result of not socializing as much or at all (besides family) almost a year since exiting the military.

I was working on analysis and diagnosis testing on new mediums of patient sample collection, and correlating them with conventional methods. And yeah, I know what you mean! Like all areas of the brain, I feel like the part that socializes needs to be exercised as well.

@@ggworldwide1 So basically your work is to improve the diagnostic process for healthcare providers? Brain is like musle, pick up heavy thoughts and put back down, eas-e!
