It is wonderful that science is fun! I used to teach biology to high school students. There was another teacher who did these fun experiments in his classroom. He kept impressing upon me the need to keep students engaged..
Can you please share this, Michelle? I have had a hard time getting views on it, and it's such a wonderful place! Thanks for watching and please tune in to my livestream on Sunday at 10AM PST and join the conversation!
Science for children could be the basis for good educational videos -, especially with funny parts. Kentucky Science Center is inspirational. A wonderful video Kaye and a must see for all children. Patrick xx
Fantastic video. I was planning a day trip down there (1 1/2 hours from my home) for a picnic with my boys. They have a awesome park on the riverfront. Adding this to the day will be fabulous. Especially if I take them on Friday or Saturday night! It's ONLY $5 per person!! For a single mom on a budget, this is such a blessing. I loved this video, can't wait to go.
Wonderful, wonderful! Would you do me a favor and share this video? It did not get many views and many more people deserve for UA-cam to recommend it. By sharing it, UA-cam is more likely to recommend it. Many thanks!
Ahhh I just saw your video about loofas and I had to subscribe for your beautiful porch. I used to volunteer at this science center and this video gave me such a wonderful rush of nostalgia!!!
Interesting that you should film the Kentucky Science Center. My mother, many years ago, was an educator at the Seattle Science Center working with elementary and middle school age students. Access to such learning sites that bring together important general scientific concepts with hands-on learning is essential to spark students' interests in the various fields of science and to understand that the world, though it seems magical sometimes, is really something we can understand through observation and exploring how nature works. I'm curious if the field trips included any specific math and measurement activities. Math is often the part of science that makes it less likely that students and young people in general will choose science as a career. I often fantasize how different our world would be if we put a quarter of our military budget toward education. Thanks for another interesting video.
I agree! I have had a hard time getting views on this video! Science and nature are inseparable so I wonder why? Thanks for watching and please tune in to my livestream on Sunday at 10AM PST and join the conversation!
It was so cool and a great educational experience where kids can go to learn and be amazed. Please share this video and help me go out of 2018 with a bang! 💥
Your timing on your trips is a little off, if you were with Doug and Stacy you could be butchering chickens, missed out Kaye. Science is cool, the water feature looked very interesting.
Thanks so much for visiting us, Kaye! I had a wonderful time showing you how we educate our young scientists!
It was so much fun! A great way to cap off my visit to Louisville!

Yes, so important! Carl Sagan said, "Children are born with a natural curiosity about science, and by 6th grade we've killed it."😘
That a great place! Thanks for sharing!

Doug actually suggested we do that when I was there, but Stacy wasn't feeling it. Thanks so much for watching! ❤🎄💖
@@Latebloomershow 😂😂😂 I'll bet he did... Way funny. A person has never been born that enjoys plucking chickens. Ornery ☺
