Excellent intro cobber. Got a big fluke flatty at the carpark. Having more luck over the other side down past sea salt and vine. Great advice like always thank you mate. 👍🏻🍻
Did you have any intentions on continuing this series? I found the first 2 eps to be really useful especially considering I live near the peninsula. Would really like to see you fish the shield street platform or Scarborough Point as i'm keen to chase some landbased squire. Great video as always, tysm for sharing your local knowledge!
Funny you uploaded this today - was only at the canal entrance platform on Saturday - never knew it existed! Threw out and got bites straight away; satisfying because we spent about 4 hours at Scotts Point and got nothing. Will be going to the canal this week. Thanks for the videos.
Yep, one of the reasons I like to fish at night, even if i do miss a few. Too many people fishing is just uncomfortable for me, especially when all I'm doing is trying to get a feed.
Another awesome vid mate. Come say hi at the hornibrook or woodypoint jetty. I'm usually one of the 20 samoan cast netters waiting for the sea mullet. Let me know if you want some fresh ones. Cheers Cob

Good video Wayne. Fished the rock wall on the other side of the harbour this morning. Chopper tailor were plentiful was able to land 30 odd. I haven’t fished it much, are the tailor usually around there or did I get lucky ?
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for making great videos.
You're a legend mate! Keen to see more vids in the future.
Caught some good yellowtail pike with plastics near that research boat. Great spot

Wasn’t going to. Not very many views. Currently on work cover so not allowed to post videos at the moment. Will be back into it mid next year.
Thanks for sharing, some fishermen like to keep everything a secret.
Thanks Di

Strange that you had no luck at Scott’s. It’s one of my better places
@@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing I know mate, we were at the beach in front of the carpark; not sure what we were doing wrong. Beautiful day though.

Agree completely. Fish when the crowd doesn’t.

Thanks La’auli. I occasionally walk the jetty’s with my dog. I’ll keep an eye out.
Hey Wayne. If you had one spot around here (land based) for trev and Jack, where would it be?
And I mean around that broad area in general? I’m from Brissy. Love your vids btw! Keep ‘em coming! Thanks mate
The pine for trevs the passage for trevs and Nerang for Jacks any canals at the GC for jacks.
Hi Wayne, I am new to fishing. Can you show us some good fishing spots in south Brisbane?
Gday TSZ. Sorry but I don’t fish that side often enough
Mate have u ever heard of people useing chicken soaked in soy sauce and oyster sauce for bream?
No that’s a new one for me
Wayne mate, just letting you know that the Patreon link doesn't work.
Thanks Fuzzy I’ll take a look.
Just tried it and worked for me?? Not sure what’s happened when you tried.

I’ll give that a go. Thanks
Yep, changed it. Thanks for pointing that out. IT isn’t one of my strengths. Lol.
