    Great pour. May I suggest that at the end of the video, you show the finished product after it has dried. You say that the epoxy still moves, so to see the real result. Keep up the fantastic videos. Thank you

    I like this finish but I think would use the green pearl instead of the blue and also I would add some accent fracture lines in maybe bronze.

    Love this ! Love the bling! Now I wish I had ordered the blue pearl instead of the regular pearl. Would love to see some of the sky, ocean, and crater blue accents in it, do you still need to torch it to get the bubbles out? What kind of gloves do you use and where do you get them?

    • @RK3Designs

      No, I use the Art Coat on our countertops whenever I am creating a white piece.

    I love this! Can you recommend a creamy white color or additive versus the bright white? Would love this for my kitchen, but my cabinets are not a stark white and am concerned with it clashing. I painted them with Benjamin Moore "Simply White". Thank you!

  • @carolmehus5661

    This is an absolutely beautiful look. We're planning on doing this over our existing countertops. Do we need to remove our sink or can we tape it off completely? with plastic??

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  3 роки тому

      For optimal results I would remove the sink. If you pour with the sink in place, you’ll not be able to remove it later if you decide to change your pattern. You can definitely tape it off, you’ll just have to remove the tape before the epoxy sets up or it will stick to the tape when you try to remove.

    I wish I could put my counters on a lazy Susan. ^_^ This close to what I want to do for my kitchen, but I think I want veins. I'm thinking of doing gold instead of silver, but then it doesn't give the shadow effect. I'm going to see what other pearl colors there might be, too. Thanks for what you do.

    Am considering pouring similar on my countertops in College Station, but adding some deep red or maroon small circular inclusion when the epoxy is slightly more setup. The purpose would be to look like garnet inclusion similar to Llanarite from Llano, Texas even though the matrix is darker and more reds and purples.
    Can you suggest anything? Seeking a light white marble theme with lite grays and silvers with these inclusions.

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  2 роки тому

      That sounds amazing! Just be cautious when adding red or matrons to a base that already has white. You’ll get a pink color when the colors touch. I would suggest color paste from Just Resin or Color Passion. We carry some of those colors on our website or you can check out www.Artisttilldeath.com and use coupon code RK3 for a discount. 😊

    How would I create a similar look to this on a bathroom sink with an integrated sink and backsplash? I would love to see a video with this kind of situation.

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  3 роки тому

      It would be difficult to get the exact look on in the sink basin because the material will run and you would loose the design. But it would look cool. Doing a backsplash would
      Be more difficult. I don’t suggest this technique on a vertical surface.

    Rhonda, its dangerous to put a stick in the paste after you’ve had it in resin. You can end up with set up globs in the jar. I love this piece. Gorgeous.

    Hi I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and even in the middle of summer here it isn’t as warm as you get in your studio. We average 70 degrees Fahrenheit even in the middle of the summer. It is a rare day when it is hotter than that and usually it isn’t for very long at all. So what happens when the space is cooler? What do we need to know about that? Thanks.

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  3 роки тому

      Hi there. You’ll want to put the epoxy bottle in a warmer area before you pour. I put mine in front of a small space heater. Just don’t get them hot. If it’s cool, it will take the epoxy a little longer to cure. If the temperature is really cold it could actually weaken the epoxy and cause it not to cure correctly.

    Interference colors really pop over black, at least that's my experience I did an experiment with interference blue, green, and violet over a table that was 50-50 black and white, you can see the difference! ua-cam.com/video/R__9tdRGgso/v-deo.html
