Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine was probably the best casting they ever did.
Too bad we only get to see her in two movie out of 5 movies

I totally agree. Comparing movies and games, I realized that I liked the actress who played Jill in the movies much more than the one who was in the game. Sienna Guillory was amazing in these films, I've watched this and other scenes with her many times. I think she could have outshone even the main character Alice if she had also been present in every part of the film and continued to appear in every new film right up to the end.
Plus sienna was a fan of the games and had a lot of respect for the character. Part of her agreement to come back to the franchise was that weren’t allowed to make Jill look totally weak in comparison to Alice. That being the big reason why Jill gets so much offense in this fight scene. She was not coming back if they let Alice mop the floor with Jill.
Weirdly enough both of these women had just given birth and are in incredibly shape.

@@yooowhatsgoodin this case, Milla was the star of the movie and didn't have a choice and Sienna didn't have a problem. The only that Sienna hated was that she had started breastfeeding and her breasts were engorged and it was uncomfortable in the catsuit but other than that, she didn't really care
No idea how Alice managed to survive that brutal assault by Jill seriously.

It's because what Wesker did only took her psionic abilities away. Her physical abilities and healing were very much intact. Remember she did survive a whole plane crash and had nothing but dirt on her while Wesker had to feed of human DNA to heal. The T Virus bonded with her of course she'd survive getting attacked by Jill

I was genuinely happy when it got cancelled. Idk what that was, but it wasn’t Resident evil. They just tried to use the name to make money tbh.

I kinda miss these movies, they were so silly - it was very entertaining in the same way as the Fast and Furious franchise - you always think "okay, what kind of ridiculousness you've made this time"

Alice with not one but two automatic powerful guns misses every shot then Luther and Leon unload their handguns in Rain. Beyond stupid lol but so fun to watch.
She didn’t miss, Jill dodged of the shots, just like she does in Resident Evil 5 game with Wesker. The serum she was receiving kinda gave her lots of habilities, Umbrella was making experiments on her just like they did with Alice, that’s why Jill is so OP.
If only Ada was fighting alongside Alice in here, this scene might be legendary. But this is iconic and amazing too since Alice the main protagonist of the Movie franchise and Jill one of the main protagonist of the main franchise were fighting.

It clearly wasn't fair. Jill was under mind control, gaining many inhuman and even robotic abilities in the sense of intelligence.
Alice barely had her powers, if she didn't already have any.

From dumbing Ada down, making Claire weak and erasing Jill from any mentions of the last few films it was obvious Milla wanted to be the ONLY heroine and not share the spotlight.
I think it's just cost cutting, the cast's talent fees aren't that cheap

If they made a spinoff for Jill back then with Sienna as the main character, I would totally watch it! Not saying I hate the Alice movies, I like them, at least they didn't change how the characters looked, unlike the horrendous WTRC and the RE series in Netflix.

I always get to the fifth movie and hope that it’ll be better, but of course, it’s always the same. It’s a shame they wasted the return of so many characters in a movie that is essentially a long VFX reel / an over budget music video… that said, I never skip it when I revisit the franchise.

Michelle Rodriguez beating up on two men is badass but if this was released in the current times it would have been seen as WOKE garbage.
No it wouldn’t because she was clearly physically enhanced, it would have been WOKKE if she was whooping them with no additional strength because at any time those two men could end the fight
