THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whether you are a beginner or pro at manuals, the one thing that unites us is that we all look like we have cerebral palsy
pmaoaoao
Lmfao
Jokes on you, I do have cerebral palsy!
F
I have cerebral Palsy
I fell asleep with this video playing and didn't wake up until the next morning. Dan's manual at 9:14 was still going.
Danual
That nose manual at the end was definitely a world record.
Nope! It's Chuck Testa!
Joking, just "unlimited balance" cheat code.
Quite impressive!
Pure joy indeed !
Definitely insane. Wow.
I literally said the same thing out loud!
Carlos lastras has done a really long one
Bruh you're the only reason why im on UA-cam right now
I love that so much
Dale Decker you are literally the funniest person on youtube😂💕love your videos
That’s a huge compliment bro.You should send them a slammin sticker!or socks!hey Dale can I buy some slammin socks from you?I get paid on Friday and Monday!idk if you have any bro?
Wow! That nose manual at the end...EASILY the longest I've ever seen! Solid!
Yeah, holy!
Mind fucking blown.
Too bad he can't kickflip into one of em 🤪
I’m literally standing outside on my skateboard watching this
how far have you come since this comment, im curious
Aren’t we all
Any update 8 months later?
how ya doing big fatty?
Progress big boy?
Tried for two hours today and only managed a 3 second manual. They look so easy. Im glad i saw this vid
Try it out moving, i only got a 3 sec movinv manny too but jt feels so much easier than, but thats bcs it freaks me out how smooth it feels and how light it feels if that make sense
Dan should have his own skate course - he explains the mechanics really well
seriously such a good skater
That was the best explanation of a manual I’ve ever seen!
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
3:52 ayo he literally magnetised to the ledge wtf
idk if it was an ollie to noseslide or slappy or both. could have a name?
I hope everyone watches to the end!! Haha nice closing clip!
Dan is the best skater
Nothing makes me happier then when I get the notification that Dale Decker uploaded a new video. Love the content please keep it coming.
Thank you and you’re welcome!
Im55 skatin still...gonna try n learn to do this on my Longboard....thanks for the Vid ...from Cambria California
Hey I had to come back to this video becuase unlike other tutorials this one legitimately worked and I’m blown away, that one arm trick is something I’ve never heard of and it works so well. Thank you so much for helping me with manuals. 😁
Dan is honestly one of the best teachers I’ve ever seen
That intro was Disney level
hadnt skated in about 15 years. forgot some of the basics. but learned the hard way to take my time. went to fast and sprained or rolled my ankle. but almost better now and will be giving it another try. thanks for this vid. subscribed.
I saw a lot of how-tos and Dan has explanations on lock!
You always get these important little things nobody else mentions like the exact foot placement or leaning toe- or heelside, which makes it so much easier to balance.
Thank you very much!
He’s a great teacher
That nose manual at the end was EPIC! Riding on brick and even went around a turn. You freaking rock at manuals dude.
We get a two fer this week? Slammin! Also, if I was in your area, I’d get some lessons from Dan. Very informative and precise.
Dan is a good ass teacher
Great tips bro. that banger longest manuel I've ever seen in life. Got my sub on that one
El mejor video de manuals, la mejor explicación, estoy poniendo en practica los tips y noto la mejora. best video about manuals
I don’t even skate and I like watching dan do a “trick tip”. Lol
haha hes so damn articulate
Maybe if you can grab a board someday! Maybe you will like that too. Dan is a great explainerer.
Both of you...
It’s Dale. Not Dan.
@@goldfish1108 Dan is the guy in the video bruhh
@@goldfish1108 no you silly goose.
Fantastic video! This is the kind of specific skateboarding tips I love. Form, physics, experience; it's all there.
Awesome skating and great tutorial Dale! I have been struggling with manuals for more than a year. I started skating with knee pain and I was very afraid to fall and pull my knee this is why I was standing too much at the back on the board. Yours is one of the best and in-depth explanations. I could manual on a BMX pretty long and I want to do so on a skateboard as well. In my opinion manuals are just as cool tricks as any flip trick, which are obviously harder, but manuals are beautiful as well
thanks man, trying to learn manuals at the moment - your video was very helpful! Happy skating!
He’s one my All time Favorites
Me too
Me: Hops on board thinking I’m gonna manual like him
Reality: Still suck at manuals
Really great video! Loads of tips on how to get better at manuals. Definitely gonna start practicing these everywhere I can. Also, that manual down the hill!!! 😲😲 Keep smashing it guys!!
Thanks dude!
Dan, Always so cerebral, and so physical. A true leader and an inspiration. Thanks for the tips!
The dale decker song goes thru my head all day
🙏🏻❤️
@@daledecker bros what the song at 6:05
Those actually loook super fun. Glad u have a sponsor for your video.
thanks me too!
Thank you for this video, Dan was so clear in his explaination.
*just remember though* - everyone is different, so trying something else might work for you, this is just a general guideline to the basics. once you get something down enough, you might be doing something different and thats fine. everyone is different and has their own style for what works for them.
Daewon actually rides tight trucks in the back and loose trucks up front. I think this set up makes both regular and rose manuals easier, but I like my board to be backwards of that for switch (loose trucks) and fakie manuals (tight trucks)
just started tinkering around with them , have learned how to ollie into them now. had a session on working half cab to manual but couldnt quite get it. can deffo see it will come with a bit more practise. Dream trick now would be halfcab flip manual or fakie front heel manual. one day.... haha
u get it yet?
@@maria-mu5ht Been injured on and off for the last year now :( so when I have been skating it has just been really careful flat ground tricks. Hopefully wont be out for much longer !
the tip about bending so your body weight is more over the front of the board, the tips about having your feet somewhat on the flat of the deck, just staying as still as possible once you find your balance point, huge. got my first manual ever over 10 seconds after watching a 2nd time
Thanks so much! This is super comprehensive, especially the part about irrational fear of leaning forward. The ending clip just blew me away, Chris Chan busted some long ones, but that was like a whole street! Mad props!
im so close to manuals. just saw this in my recommended so hope this helps when im next out :)
the irrational fear of scraping your nose is what I struggle with, the way you explained it was actually really helpful lol very logical. cheers dan and dale!
Hope it helps!
Thanks for the tips, I have gone to homage many times! Really appreciate the help, I’ll do this and see how it improves my manuals, I can already have them last at least 5 to 7 seconds.
His sense of balance is off the charts!
9:53 was so totally a record 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
I was out skating trying to learn manuals and a guy wearing the hover shoes was riding around in the same parking lot as me like what are the odds
Nose Manny was dope at the end bro💯
Keeping the wheels as close to the ground as I could was the most helpful tip in this vid. Thanks
I haven’t seen those grind guards on a board since the early 90s! That’s some real nostalgia 😳
the most important part about manuals especially nose/fakie manuals is that little pinch he does at 5:55. you dont even have to balance really once you get a good pinch you can just sit in it forever once you lock it in that position.
BINGO
More Dirty Dan tutorials, please! These seem helpful to every level of skater, and I've found all of his tutorials super helpful, as a beginner.
I’ve been practicing manuals for thirty years (still shit at manuals that’s why I’m watching this vid!)
I still suck at them too aha
how old are you ?
That manual at the end is the best manual I've ever seen
Thank you Dale and All the slammin world wide skaters ! You guys are my inspiration
Glad you enjoy the vids!!!!
i love this channel, i can’t wait for the next march drop. gotta cop sum. keep up the videos man!!!
Hell yeah thank you!
Working on un-learning my razor-tail/toe-drag tendencies
dan has become my fav skater ever since you started hanging together
Yeah he’s mine too
I needed this been trying to get nose mannys down for a while
hope it helps!
Dan Corrigan's long manual in this vid is what i do in my literal dreams and i live for that
He gives the best trick tips and that nose manny was ridiculous af!! And follow up...those slammin sweatpants are the g o a t!!!!
He’s a good teacher and stoked you dig em! They’ll be out soon!
@@daledecker bet imma for sure get a pair!! #victimtoself
That long switch front board was crazy!!!!!!
Thanks Dan. You rip. I've seen you do some cool shit in other videos, and that nose manual at the end was nuts. Thanks for the tips.
Another great trick tip dadio. I'm actually where weather permits now but unfortunately I have no board... So still gotta wait to skate. So sad.
Glad you enjoyed the video
Courthouse stage mannys always look so sick. Great job Dan and Dale!
Yeah that shit is y’all too
Thank you for the tips! This actually does make it a lot easier👀
Wtf bro! That nose manny in the end was INSANE! great video, helps allot
I love discovering music from Skate videos lol people have such a great taste in music in this scene
whats the song at 6:04 would yk?
Gleemer for the intro song? Hell yeah
Oh man thank you, I was thinking so hard cause I couldn't remember what band it was even tho I knew it
Dominik Bačkay yeah man they’re dope. Love both their albums 🤘🏻
Dominik Bačkay if you like Gleemer then check out It Looks Sad they’re super good
him: 9:13 me: attempts to manual from crack to crack on sidewalk also me: fails miserably
Dale and Dan the GOAT.
❤️
That nose manual at the end... gotta be kidding me! unreal
I was looking for someone who can help me with balance ..now I get it bro.
Dan the man!!! Great video guys! And the manual at the end omfg. LEGEND🔥
Nice one. Wolfman Dan looks like he's playing with a yo-yo while balancing (should edit one in) 🤣 haha
Hahahahhha that’s funny
Thank you! Dan
🙏🏻
Perfect 👌 explanation to manuals bro!
I wanna fix how I lock in on manuals. I tend to gain better balance when I’m leaning towards my heal with my back truck, but the probablem is that I start turning when I’m trying to go straight! How do I fix that?
that stage is tall af big ups Gabriel forever pop kings!
This was really helpful, after this video i was able to manual 500 feet then i nollie lazerflip- darkslided el Toro. cool video tho
Tight
Dude, that was a awesome explanation of the trick! Thank you.
You’re welcome!
Him saying to lean more on the heels for normal manuals helped like 90%
I love your hack vids!!!
Thanks! You’re first
Dale Decker my phone dinged and it was like without hesitation click
Nice! Keep up the amazing work. Love your videos, keep on inspiring and shredding
Ive always dreaded doing manuals but i think its time to start learning them
Thanks dale I suck a manuals so I’ll try this out 🤙🤙🤙
I do too
if you wanna manual a long time and are a beginner swing your back arm in circles and use it to help you balance. also the biggest thing for manuals is focus, you need to focus only on the manual and nothing else in your life or anywhere else
That nose manual at the end was insane. Much respect.
Very well said. Also, I felt that rage at the start of the video 😂 he was on a roll!
I was wondering what type of wheels do you use I’m having trouble finding the right wheels since mine have flat spots
Damn thanks for the how too!! I got a lot better just doing it while you explained!
Okay but what shoes did he have on at the very beginning? Those are sick asf
coming out of a manual pad fakie manual or sw manual is scary af lol ill take ur advice on pretending to do a longer one
This video helped me most of the 4 I’ve seen so far
Scraping the nose is a good way to get a hipper depending on timing. Back when I was a nose Manuel noob.
My first skateboatd... the tony hwk
Was going to learn these, now I’m definitely putting these in my lines
🙏🏻🤝🥇
Thank you for this!
Thanks for this, always love to watch your vids mayn
He’ll yeah thank you
Nose manny at the end is Guinness worthy!
Varian heel tutorial pease!!! Love ur videos👍👍👍👍
Thank you!
Please post more this vid made my day
I did nothing but try manuals for hours and hours Now I can Ollie onto sidewalks while landing a manual, takes practice and still learning!
