This gives me super old school lake street vibes. Great video. I love the chemistry gave and Aaron have. It’s unmatched and uncanny. It’s better than all the rest and it’s the best. Another amazing video braille.
Yes! OG Lake Street feel for sure
There has been a massive improvement in video idea quality since Arron started spending more time at Braille again. I think he is irreplaceable. Everyone also seems to just be having more fun in the more recent videos. Aaron Kyro is Braille Skateboarding!!! It feels like the old Braille is back again.
I think the reason it sometimes doesn’t seem to magnetize is that you have to lift both feet in perfect unison otherwise they’re fighting against each other. That’s why it lifts so well with only one foot
So one is north side down and the other south.. right????
@@mattheecarrasco7102 i think its more about his weight, like if he lift his heel before his toes the magnet on his heels will disconect
I think all three of you are right but...idk.
Yep
This is cool! My first ever skateboard was a pure metal board (I cannot remember the name of the board). It was from some surf shop in SoCal and my mom bought it for me thinking it was the best thing ever. Let me tell you....bailing on that metal board took finesse. I hit my shins so many times and it still hurts thinking about it.
The chemistry building over the years between Aaron and Gabe is golden.
AK - How do we get it in here though?!
Gabe- (quietly) Drill from the bottom....
Haha
I used to love skateboarding! You guys definitely reignited an old love of mine. Much respect! Great videos
I'm so glad that Aaron and Gabe have stuck together all these years.
🎼 Ooh wooahoo oha oE oh woah ooh oh oOoo mMm… 🎵 Caught in a bad bromance 🎶
@@Zeddicus_Zorander bruhh 😭😭 shut uppp

I mean this literally and as a pun lol. @brailleskateboarding
@@donnytucker the literal version IS the pun lol
I love you guys ability to skateboard but also create simple yet fun concepts
The board must have been an alloy and not fully steel. Notice how well they stuck the the sheet metal at the begging of the ramps. Just lay a sheet of that on top of a normal board and you will stick much better (I think).
you could even carve out a few of the plys of a deck and inset some sheet metal just in the key places
dude the chrono cross grip tape is amazing. That is definitely my favorite game all time.
excellent video, possibly try neodymium magnets which are smaller and can be recessed into the shoes ( with epoxy glue )
Awesome video as always, thanks for always giving us entertainment!
Hi braille your my favorite skate channel it’s because of you I have been skating and I love it
Chrono grip tape was legit fire.
I love this. I started when people sent you cool things. Now you're doing your own ideas
i actually really love these sort of videos you make
I commented this idea to y’all a little while back. Glad to see it is being implemented 😂
these original aaron kyro ideas are becoming my fav vids quick.
No way, I actually commented this same idea like a month ago or something! Was so hyped to watch this video! Great video! Was like a dream come true that this video actually happened 😂
Ayo! I did a similar build for john hill years ago - the key to staying on is super strong magnets, and sort of bringing the board with your feet, instead of jumping and hoping the board follows.
There was actually a company that made a magnetic board at one point! Or at least patented it
Thats pretty dope what was the function for that haha
Yesss Fam!! This is what I’ve wanted in my lif!!
I actually did this as a kid when i was skating and it was surprisingly fun, bolt the shoes to the board using the pre existing holes in the board for the trucks and use it on the vert ramps or something you can maintain speed with. We did it with the 5ft half pipe in the back yard
non stoping content, your channel made me to buy aggresive inlines again and go to local park and start skating again! thank you for all content, this channel is amazing.I think that everybody is making a special relationship with braille team with every video. I have an idea,i dont know if its has been done, but put on regular skateboard snowboard binding, that could be fun, just like magnetic, but on a regular board! thank you braille team for non stop amazing content! much love from slovakia
So happy you got on some wheels again!
Rad video 😂 y’all actually might get me back into skating again
Gracias Braille por otro grandioso video, un saludo a todos los patinadores del mundo
This creation was brilliant
Quiero hacerlo!
Still remember when Aaron went to HD to buy a door all those years ago. Would be kinda fun to revisit some of those old ideas. Need to get back to lake street some day too!
fun fact , I had this as a kid from decathlon , it was fully commercialised , shoes with huge magnets inside and looked like normal shoes with two metal pads on the board screwed in , loved to take coins from the ground with these!
Now this is a video I’ve been wanting to see😂
Love this one!
Your on to something. I love this idea. 🔥✌🏽
Braille makes my day when they upload. All of you are dope
Thank you
Man your timing is PERFECT! Gotta work on my tribal tattoos for my Scion of Conquest!
I love how you filmed Aaron coming out of Home Depot like you would film a skate clip.
This was another fun idea. Futuristic stuff.
It looks to me like you're gonna have to redo this episode with stronger magnets.
Yea those are not the "real" neodymium magnets
Stronger magnets and section out the souls of the shoes to place magnets in for a flush fit. It will be more comfy too! 🤘😎🤘
Now that's game changing!!
Magnets only stick to ferromagnetic materials. In practical terms this pretty much limits you to boards made from steel, or I guess cast iron. Even stainless steel probably won't work.
Use industrial adhesive to glue those powerful small magnetic cubes all over the bottom of a pair of shoes and they would probably work beautifully!
Also I too thought Aaron built houses this whole time lmao.
Og Aaron and Gab vid 🔥
It definitely had that feel!
Insane combo as always
would be cool to see the reverse, magnets on the board with metal inserts in the shoes
That’s what I was thinking
Hmmmm, yes....
and use neodymium magnets
“You survived the glass”😂
I think you should do this again with stronger magnets. Like the fishing magnets, those things are gnarly
Great job!
7:17 we need a short cinematic film with edits like that😜🙏🏽❤️
The force is with you aaron (literally) lol
This is super cool
As always, great video. Greetings from germany✌🏼its dang cold
I don’t think it would sell much but this is definitely marketable 😂 never loose the inventor inside brother
How y'all come up with these banger video ideas after so many years of consistent content is fukin nuts brother
that's pretty cool. What if you got a board with magnets under it on the same polarity as ones on the shoes - so they REPEL each other?
You should use lots of long thin magnets and stick them across the shoe, so you can roll the foot forward...it would be a cool shoe. Maybe have lots of little neodimion magnets and some tape, so the shoe flexes completely
Aaron accidentally becomes a superhero
Just an idea, would be a lot easier to cover the top of any deck with velcro, and then just stick some velcro to the bottom of your shoes. Would have no permanent damage to the shoes OR the deck, and any deck and pair of shoes could be used!
We’ve done this! But can always revisit!
@@brailleskateboarding revisits are the best! That's usually when The Kinks have been worked out and they're usually better than the original.
Man you got a fabricator/welder who loves skating and also wants to make y’all a metal long board now! I gotta see y’all do some speed dives with those magnet shoes!!!
make it
that sounds like suicide ngl 😂
Definitely should have tried the vert ramp
I might try making this
Somehow not surprised that they had a metal skateboard 😂, u gotta love AK ideas
how about one of those glass boards with no concave and shoes with a bunch of tiny suction cups on the bottom. gorilla glued or something. probably ones that are formed together in one mold like a suction cup mat
this is crazy idea Braille
Crazy good idea
Congrats!
Do a durability test on a alien workshop videogame deck. It's a skateable deck with cloth grip. All you have to do is drill new holes for the trucks. Thanks. Love you guys!😁🤙one💙Playboy ace
It would be so awesome to use this on the vert ramp, you could do grabs and tucks without using your hands. Even a backflip on a mega ramp fully hands free
I wonder if it would work better with much weaker magnets. Like, weak enough that you can kickflip and ollie and stuff, but it still adds SLIGHT attraction between your feet and the board, improving the "feel". Would still require a much lighter board.
I don't skate so it might feel real bad.
When Tech Deck action figures come to life :)
Also this would be a great way to hold riders to hoverboards like in the ps1 racing game Streak...
Upgrade with electro magnet with switch to stick the landing.
Maybe inset magnet flush I soles, for a better feel
i did not know i was so blind i needed magnetic braille to read "laughing so loud i fell off my chair"
this is the best skate channel ever
Thank you
What is the easiest vid to learn frontside 180
Now I want to see the finished chrono trigger board lol
Could you cut 2 metal strips and fit them over the truck holes on a normal wooden board 🤔?
the click clack of the magnet shoes is satisfying
Love the videos when testing weard things
Same
i love these
I need that Chrono Trigger Grip tape!!!!
i love u guys so much, i still miss Carlos Lastra tho (:
Gotta prank someone and leave the shoes on a metal shelf and have someone walk by and ask them to grab the shoes for you 🤣
Have you done velcro griptape and bottom of show yet? I can't rememeber!
Yo, shout out that grip tape was from me, and if you know you know, Crono! But was an Akira Toriyama designed character from the SNES game Chrono Trigger so you guys were on point. Much love!!!!!!
@3:30 😂😂😂 classic
Hey guys! Big fan!
Thanks!
That hoonigan board is sick btw
Use a ton of washer shaped rare earth magnets (in the same isle you found those)and some thin sheet metal on a regular board.
I'm an Iron worker and I believe it's not thick enough to fully mag to. We have these things called mag drills. It's basically a portable drill press that has an electromagnetic base. You can literally drill upside down but, if the metal isn't thick enough the magnet has no bite I guess you can call it. The trick was to put another plate underneath and that would hold fine. Try a couple squares of that same material if you have any left rectangles about as big as the shoe. You could even glue it on the bottom. That those will stick thru contact cement. Weld it on would be ideal. I can do it for you if you're near Stockton anytime.
Lol my brain lowkey ran a blank when gabe said it’s October 26th when today is November 5th 😂😂😂
would a shoe sole made of flexible fridge magnets do the same job? you can get a sheet of this stuff using neodymium magnets and maybe cut it to size!
try it with a smooth board (Maybe plexi glass?) and suction cup shoes
Finally a board I can ollie with
Hey braile you should do a home Depot series home Depot need to sponsor Aaron 😂
Definitely need to see this with the lighter board!!!
You need to recess the magnet into the sole so that it is flush with the rubber and also use a pure steel laminated board. That deck is an alloy.
There actually was a company called magnetron skate I dont know if they exist anymore but it looked pretty cool to cruise on.
Very interesting
This reminds of back in the day, some skaters at my local park would put bungie straps on their boards then slide there feet under bungies lol
The boys trying to re-create "Ssx Tricky" out here!
lol.
This a crazy idea
Thanks
Try painting a board with Tuff Grip non-slip floor paint.
