Love the idea of big chunks of pear and prune in this recipe along with the crumble topping.Your stripey socks are becoming a feature in these video's, I think your cameraman/ lady might be after a pair for Christmas.
This looks soooo good. I love pears and prunes but have never thought to bring them together in a dessert. I've been baking like a woman gone mad. Here in Sweden we eat Lussebullar in December. And we have been eating them like crazy. :) It is time to start baking for christmas in just a week or so.
Mouth watering! I love both fruits used in this cake but the OTT was the idea of making a crumble for the topping to just take this to the next level. We are well past the half way point and I am sad to see us getting close to the end but it gives your fans time to get see it all and decided which to try for this Christmas and if they have more than one favorite ( as I do) to add that for the New Year. Looking forward to day 9! By the way, does it matter what type of pear you use for this cake? Are Bosc pears okay or no?
