What a beautiful little property. With all the fruit, that's called free food. Thank you for this video and again I was happy to wake up to this video of both of you this morning.
Thank you for all the efforts to get in touch with like minded people it feels with you guys like it is about community building ,and genuine info sharing ,a positive vibe not like those estate agents snakes. your help and time is much appreciated, keep it up
Thanks for sharing your life and these properties with us. I especially liked this property with its views and the flat land and proximity to the villages. When I go to the Stafford Motorcycle Mechanics Auction in England next year, I will be contacting you as I will be touring around Portugal, looking for a retirement property. The country has been tops on my list to "ride" out the rest of my life. Thank you. Katja and Robin, for taking the time to bring this property to our attention. I see that Robin is still wrestling the drunken Bear who has seizures! Cheers from Connecticut in the States!
Nice motorbike in the beginning. They were very cheap for us in the eighties and nineties in Western Europe. Much cheaper than Japanese bikes or German or British. Today these bikes are not so cheap anymore, and not so easy to come by, unfortunately. I should have bought a few back then 😃. Would have been a good investment. So starting with a motorbike, a nice little farm in the middle of the video, and ending with the doggie on the lap. Enjoyed the video, thank you.
I’ve been watching many videos of property for sale in Portugal. Prices seem to be all over the map. Your property seems to be nice and at least semi maintained with the typical varieties of fruit trees. 40k doesn’t seem excessive but I’ve seen 3 hectares similarly priced.
I like it and if my house is sold and this would be on the market I definitely would consider it! Question I have maybe you can give advice, when should I apply for my NIF before I give up/sold my UK property and move to Portugal or when I'm there? Just asking as I heard that you need an Address to get it. What did you do to the little doggy 🐕 (he normally is always on full speed)? Lol
If you are not an EU citizen you need to go through the whole process of a visa application, which cannot be done if you are in Portugal. (The D7 residence visa) You can get a NIF anytime but is a necessary and simple part of that.
@@offgridquintakatinka thank you ! I'm English speaking, living in UK but I'm a German with German passport 🙃🙏💕😉, so should I get my NIF before I've sold off and make my way to Portugal?
You can if you maintain it as an agricultural support building, which you can live in for nine months in a year. As we said in the video, for full time residence you'd need to get it re registered as habitation.
Not even 1 ha for 40k. NO possibility to live on. WAY WAY overprized. Knock it down to 15K and even then you can be very pleased for 2€/sqm. I did see an other property from 2,3 ha without habitation for 21.750€. Good to hear youvsaying that you do not set the price but just passingbthe message. That's enough indication that you also think its to much.
much nicer when they don't plow it and kill the soil... much better to run sheep through it and let them eat the grass.... killing the soil like that makes it even drier and makes the fire issues worse... other then that it is a nice property
@@offgridquintakatinka yeah it is a practice of very misunderstood "goodness" they want to do good to prevent the fires, but they make it so much worse
It is never " No Problem" in Portugal to change agriculture land into something else. So be sure you get the permission in advance! Was that a real Ural motorcycle which is actually working? I only see them break down all the time🤣
Having visited Portugal several times with intention to buy property I,ve finally come to the conclusion that all estate agents are porky pie,ers and when you find a solicitor to work on your behalf get another on to check on that one. A lot of snakes about.😂
Very good information by yourselfs could you possibly help without coming to Portugal I believe I need a buff no before opening a bank account I’m been watching a lot of channels and you’re Chanel seems more honest information thank you
Hello. It's very easy to get a NIF number. From outside Portugal you'd have to get an agent to do it for you but if you are here it's no problem. Then you can get a bank account also.

Yes, they both are wonderful people with hearts of gold!
Thanks. Yes, we really would like more good people here, to keep the village alive
Pretty land. Nice tour. Sweet sleeping baby!
Super , je l'adore , merci a vous deux .
Thank you for sharing all this information on these properties!
Our pleasure!
Robin always reminds me of my favourite comedian, Spike Milligan. Nice video thank you as always.
Haha, thanks! He was a genius!
@@offgridquintakatinka I e even got him as my profile picture lol
cons: electricity, potable water, sewage :P But it has a lot of fruit trees, that's really nice. nice video. keep it up
Yes, but as we said, unusually with this property, electricity and water can be quite easily connected, though off grid is very easy these days
Lovely video and property thanks for bringing us with you 😊
You are welcome

Yes, prices vary a lot. It depends on every factor. Access is important.

Yes Portugal is beautiful. Some are large like yours, but mostly they are small farms.
When are you guys going to make a video of the reasons why you came to Portugal and what your future plans are, if any. It would make a great video ?
It's on the list ! Soon!
The fruit is called Mispel, or in Portuguese Nêspera

Katinka is an English or Portuguese name? Vagy Magyar?
Actually it's more a Russian diminutive form of Katja or Katerina

If it has no habitation licence it's a problem for living in, even for a van, and for legal extensions etc.
in Portuguese NESPRAS...the wellow ones.
Are you related to spike Milligan ?
Haha. Not that I know of!

€40.000? Is that right?
That was the asking price but it sold for 30 k
