I love how you and rick keep posting your club reviews of the same brand at the same time. I get to watch two reviews to better distinguish the driver brands!
I'm a Callaway guy. The driver looks great. That price point though. All these manufacturers really need to rethink the pricing. It's completely out of control.
Just picked up the Epic max LS 9 degree HZRDUS 70 gram x flex. Picked up 10mph ball speed, from my Wilson cortex. 320y carry w/ pro v1x. 120mph club speed. 180mph ball speed. Incredible driver. Feels like I’m cheating.
Oddly enough, I tested all of the major drivers in a club fitting and this one was the most accurate. I was shocked at how poorly I hit the 425 but that's how it goes with this stuff.
I haven't hit this new Epic yet but for me I love my Mavrik driver. I did hit the epic flash and I consistently would average 5-9 yards of carry farther with the Mavrik. The new epic sure is a good looking driver for sure!
Was getting fitted for a Maverick when the rep brought this into my fitters before the holidays. My accuracy was notably improved over the Maverick. Can wait for it to come in.
I just bought the epic max ls today. I have been struggling with a slice and dont play often enough so i wanted some adjustablity to fit myself throughout the season. Very forgiving driver. 9° with 70g mmt x flex.
I got the epic speed brand new for under 200 bucks on Callaway Pre Owned. It has absolutely changed my tee game upgrading from the x2 hot pro. Definitely a great club to look into if you’re on a budget but still want something premium and new.
Mmm the view from above is rather brilliant especially the EPIC Speed LS; it really suits my eye. Guess you may have to wear a cricket box just in case... Great vlog; cheers!
Great video Pete, am I interested to see whether this goes into your bag in due course, but if I was a betting man I think the TM SIM2 may be your preference. I look forward to seeing it all unfold!
Glad to see you taking on viewers’ idea re: top trumps board! May be pick a different hole for accuracy test? We’re going to end up with 1 or 2/5 for every driver 😂
I really enjoy the new rating system, I feel it gives a tangible feel to the review. Very nice add, plus you can do an end of year to be able to see what is the best in your opinion. Keep up the great videos.
i have the new TSI2, long but sometimes tough to control. I am 68 years old and a 9.1 index I saw your epic and Ping 425 reviews. Going for a fitting in a few weeks. which driver is the straightest and most forgiving for the reviews a few yards don't matter
1. Great review! Even worked in John Denver lyrics! 2. Robots are plotting with cats to take over the world. Blenders and robot vacuums will lead the charge. You didn't drop your phone, it jumped as a warning because you've discovered their plan. 3.Jolly Good Wallop would be a great name for a band.
Can you do a review of the Titleist TSI3 in this format Pete (with star ratings, on GC Quad, etc)? Curious how this measures up to the newly released 2021 drivers!
Apparently the LS was very tour driven and they wanted more spin than the Sub Zero for a bit of added control. Will explain some of the higher than expected spin numbers for the LS model.
i love the idea of establishing a barometer for your reviews for this year. I do think to establish a base it might make sense to put your current SIM through the paces - think it will give some more perspective on where these new clubs are falling in comparison to something you think is good enough to be in your bag.
I liked this review Pete, however maybe insert a comparison with the last club released by the said company, as the new ones are supposed to be better. Food for thought. Keep up the great work mate😍
Just watched Rick Shiels review these same clubs. His club head speed was 111mph and his carries were around 286yds. Guess you’ve got the edge on drives. lol Interesting to see the differences in likes and dislikes of the products. Just a thought, maybe you were having issues with hitting the #18 fairway because you didn’t have a visual for your alignment. You need a projector and screen. Great review Pete!
if looking for a touch lower loft for those drivers, see if Callaway will send you the shaft with a left handed adapter on it...able to drop it 2 degrees at that point instead of just the one.
Pete really like the way you are scoring these and can't wait to see the end table to see who comes out on top. Will it then be a shoot off against your SIM to see what goes in the bag? Keep it up
If you want a good review on forgiving clubs and how each club that comes out is different (or not), watch Rick. But if you want extremely entertaining content with someone absolutely crushing the ball.....you watch Pete.
Hi Pete, any chance you can flatten that section of artificial grass to the front/side edge of your mat? Driving me mad..... Great videos so far, loving the new studio and kit. 👍🏻
Great video Pete, I think I still lean towards the Ping Driver more though. Nearly an expensive video with the possibility of nearly smashing your phone and laptop 😂
Would love to test these bad-boys. I‘m totally into Callaway and really needing a new Driver. My one is older than 15 years. Amazon to see you smashing them.
That is some serious distance and speed you are generating. The training is definately done its job.. Off the tee your game is looking good. Keep it up. Club looks OK but could not see myself ever buying it. The ping but did tempt me, even though I doubt will make any difference for me.
Already watch Rick Shiels, Crossy and Mick Newton and you all pretty much come up with a consistent review of these which is that they are very good, and all liked the sound. I thinks Ricks comparison with the old Epic was more relevant than a comparison with the Maverick, and that showed 4 yards in 4 years. However, you all also talk of more forgiveness on off centre hits, and again this is same for the new Ping 425. The conclusion would be is no point buying any new driver to gain extra distance if your current driver is less than 5 years old, but if you fancy finding a few more fairways and have the money, then maybe make the investment.
Nice review Pete! Question is have you seen the Birtee? Great option over wooden tees. Loving your channel for quite some time. Fantastic content. Cheers!
Great vid Pete. I feel like that most of the marketing that goes into these new drivers are mostly gimmicks. "Max ball speed (with the new Jailbreak A.I Speed Frame) + maximum forgiveness with high MOI and adjustable weighting". Who really buys into this marketing ? Especially when you consider the similar performance to last years drivers.
All the best in the new studio Pete. I've just watched your ping 425 review as well. I. M. H. O, the ping seems better suited to your swing. Also, I'm sure the low launch low spin Tensei Orange is a better shaft fit for you? 🤔... Given how well you played tiger's irons in the past, you should try playing his shafts in your woods and driver 🤔
Is that your standard outfit for driver testing? Maintaining a controlled environment I see 😁. Glad you warmed up there, was worried when your numbers were behind Rick's
Hey everyone, if you’re feeling lonely don’t hesitate to reach out to those close to you ❤️
You're my only friend ❤️
@@sheedy9 o dear
@@frankmccaughan9376 it's OK, friends are over rated 😂
Good on you Pete people need to hear this
You and ricks videos have got me through the last few months lol
When Pete looks over to the screen to see how he hit it is just me watching my ball fly like a boomerang after I've hit a pearler of a slice
Nice to see Pete venturing into the world of club reviews
Would we say....questing 😚
The Terminator frame....so good!
Me: Hits 240 just left of fairway.. Ecstatic. Pete: 300 yards down the middle.. That's a shame, that.
I love how you and rick keep posting your club reviews of the same brand at the same time. I get to watch two reviews to better distinguish the driver brands!

Nice to have a few smiles while watching golf, that’s why you and shielsy are the top of the heap!
Pete is always such a lively soul, it's such a treat to watch him after a long day
Did you have a long day today?
I haven't hit this new Epic yet but for me I love my Mavrik driver. I did hit the epic flash and I consistently would average 5-9 yards of carry farther with the Mavrik. The new epic sure is a good looking driver for sure!
Love your videos Pete. Your sense of humour is right up my street. :) Getting me through Lockdown. Please keep them coming .
Like how you swing, hold follow through, but peaking out of the corner of your eye to see the screen and how the ball did
They look like nice drivers. I'm an EPIC fan playing with the original EPIC BB and I love it.
Was getting fitted for a Maverick when the rep brought this into my fitters before the holidays. My accuracy was notably improved over the Maverick. Can wait for it to come in.
Grab.a Triple Diamond version...Speed and LS versions. Sounds even better and Steve Stricker even put it in play. Jon Rahm, Xander, etc, etc...
Can’t wait to see the new digs all finished!
Awesome new set up Pete. That putting green is amazing! Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing your Dubai coverage!
I bought an epic max at the end of the season , I love it
I love my Maverick. Added 15 yards to my game.
It's funny how I find myself rooting for you on the "accuracy" and "distance" tests. Great stuff!
I just bought the epic max ls today. I have been struggling with a slice and dont play often enough so i wanted some adjustablity to fit myself throughout the season. Very forgiving driver. 9° with 70g mmt x flex.
I love that you are using Vice Pro Plus balls!
I got the epic speed brand new for under 200 bucks on Callaway Pre Owned. It has absolutely changed my tee game upgrading from the x2 hot pro. Definitely a great club to look into if you’re on a budget but still want something premium and new.
Finally no more aluminum... I mean, aluminium, noise!! Driver sounds great.
Peter. How about Testing a Max LS with a low launch, low Spin Shaft then hit the Chrome Soft X LS ball? Thanks
Nice drivers , I'm gaming the previous Epic flash and love it , I love the black & green combo
Mmm the view from above is rather brilliant especially the EPIC Speed LS; it really suits my eye.
Guess you may have to wear a cricket box just in case...
Great vlog; cheers!
Appreciate the great content and the humor! I thought I saw the terminator in there. Had to slow it down to catch it. 🤣🤣
Great job Mr Finch, great looking drivers being swung by the long knocker himself. Keep up the good work. Agree with ur star totals. God bless you sir
Thorough and insightful review. Thanks Pete. Stay safe, stay happy 👍🏻
Great video Pete, am I interested to see whether this goes into your bag in due course, but if I was a betting man I think the TM SIM2 may be your preference. I look forward to seeing it all unfold!
Love your review Pete, top class again. New set up looking good.
Glad to see you taking on viewers’ idea re: top trumps board! May be pick a different hole for accuracy test? We’re going to end up with 1 or 2/5 for every driver 😂
New place looks amazing love a bit of a warehouse vibe
I really enjoy the new rating system, I feel it gives a tangible feel to the review. Very nice add, plus you can do an end of year to be able to see what is the best in your opinion. Keep up the great videos.
That one-frame Terminator cut was awesome.
I'd just chuck it on a 3 wood shaft. Done it with the original epic and the XR 16 and made my driving a whole lot straighter and easier to hit
Also interested in the SIM2 Series, but great new studii. Would like to have one like that on my own during our germany lockdown time
Gimmick as always🤷♂️
Happy new years Pal!!!!!
I wish you lot golf this year😎
Pete i hear Skynet are coming out with some clubs soon! and i would love to see the Star test with your normal SIM
i have the new TSI2, long but sometimes tough to control. I am 68 years old and a 9.1 index I saw your epic and Ping 425 reviews. Going for a fitting in a few weeks. which driver is the straightest and most forgiving for the reviews a few yards don't matter

Get the SIM out and compare to it, you absolutely BOMB that club 💣
The sim is still dominant 🙌🏻
Commenting just because you're a decent bloke. I haven't watched the video yet, but sure it will be class.
Loving the new set up. Can't wait to see it finished👍
Would like to see you put your Sim through the tests so you could compare it to the new drivers!
Can you do a review of the Titleist TSI3 in this format Pete (with star ratings, on GC Quad, etc)? Curious how this measures up to the newly released 2021 drivers!

The flash at 2:25‐26 is legendary!!!
Haha nice frame of the terminator 😉 really nice vid pete!
Peter is becoming the Jeremy Clarkson of golf club reviews.
Like the colour of the driver, similar to my current sup zero one..
My Taylormade has the same problem with toe hits the back spin is ideal. If I middle one the ball speed increases and my back spin as well

Love the new tech, good looking club too
Haha that frame at 2:27 really got me
Man I don't even play golf but love this channel
Hi Pete, I would love to see you do these tests with your current driver, to set a baseline.
if looking for a touch lower loft for those drivers, see if Callaway will send you the shaft with a left handed adapter on it...able to drop it 2 degrees at that point instead of just the one.

Pete, I noticed you missed a few fairways. There's a guy I found on UA-cam named Matt Fryer that may be able to help with that drive of yours. Haha!
Most visually appealing drivers Callaway have produced for a while
If you want a good review on forgiving clubs and how each club that comes out is different (or not), watch Rick. But if you want extremely entertaining content with someone absolutely crushing the ball.....you watch Pete.
Great video as always pete. Harder trying to do your own club fitting too.
Really love the look of the top but the bottom is hideous imo. Great review though Pete and love the new studio!!
That was a really interesting review....... apart from the accuracy issue the minute you set eyes on Pebble Beach 😂
Hey Pete, which driver would you say is your favorite? And What driver would you recomend for a low handicaper?
Like the look of them. But what would a high handicapper do?
Beautiful looking drivers
Love a Mr Finch club review. Especially driver!! 😀👍☺😎
Hi Pete, any chance you can flatten that section of artificial grass to the front/side edge of your mat? Driving me mad.....
Great videos so far, loving the new studio and kit. 👍🏻
Great video Pete, I think I still lean towards the Ping Driver more though.

2:26 I see what you did there, Pete 😉🤣
Good vlog like the new studio. whats the wrist band bud ?
Would love to test these bad-boys. I‘m totally into Callaway and really needing a new Driver. My one is older than 15 years. Amazon to see you smashing them.
Good review thank you. It is refreshing to see a review not wax lyrical over a new product and have an air of genuine impartiality.
I did mention it was only a matter of time before that springing net got you!
Thanks Pete...liking the ranking system (provides some comparability). Will you be subjecting the Cobra Rad driver to the test?
That is some serious distance and speed you are generating. The training is definately done its job.. Off the tee your game is looking good. Keep it up.
Club looks OK but could not see myself ever buying it. The ping but did tempt me, even though I doubt will make any difference for me.
im glad this came out means the callaway mavrik went down in price

Be interesting to see the results with a shorter shaft!
Like your ranking method. I wonder how they would perform at a lower swing rate, like 85 to 95 MPH!
They are actually $529 USD, great review!
Great video! What’s your opinion on how the cobra f9 stacks up to new epic lineup?
Nice review Pete! Question is have you seen the Birtee? Great option over wooden tees. Loving your channel for quite some time. Fantastic content. Cheers!
Great video Pete. I hope one day I can play with you , Rick and matt
Pete, what about testing the MaxLS with the PX Hulk PVD or an Aldila RIP X ?
Great vid Pete. I feel like that most of the marketing that goes into these new drivers are mostly gimmicks. "Max ball speed (with the new Jailbreak A.I Speed Frame) + maximum forgiveness with high MOI and adjustable weighting". Who really buys into this marketing ? That water looks good!!!
Love the idea watching now
Hi Pete, where did you source your driving net from and is it suitable for outdoor use?
Get yourself a Ventus Black in it Pete 👌🏻time to upgrade my Rogue but do I go SIM 2, Epic or TSI 3 or do I get last years SIM 🤔
All the best in the new studio Pete. I've just watched your ping 425 review as well. I. M. H. O, the ping seems better suited to your swing.
