Your welcome aap2em. Do you have any suggestions for other videos you'd like to see me create?
Nice job sir. Very good this just opened up a whole new world for me and my guitar friend
Glad I could help, WHEREtheFUNK.
I like that he pointed out that you must strum the rest of the chord. Some people re articulate the Bass note which stops the Bass line.
Thanks Tom, you make everything so simple and easier to learn than what I have seen others do. No dig to them, we all have our techniques and yours is what works for me.

I enjoyed the lesson, but I don't understand how to incorporate the bass runs into songs. What do I do if the chords in the song are not G-C-D? When do I use the bass runs? Could you play a complete song using alternate bass notes and bass runs as an example, please?
Hi Satva, I'm working on a lesson now to show how to use this in a song.
Thanks a lot.😀
How do you figure out the bass note for any chord? Explain in simple way please
It's mostly the root like C has C in the bass
Some inversions of C have E or G in the bass. ( ie. C/E & C/G)
Those / chords are called slash chords, they have alternate bass note (even the ones that aren't in it's triad)
C/B ( C over B- C with B in the bass)
Basically notation is *Chord/ Bass note*
When counting, does this mean the base is on the 1,2,3,4 and the strum is on the '&'?
Hi, Britt. No... the bass notes is on 1, strum on 2 bass again on 3, strum on 4. That's the basic strum pattern.
P's I have some difficulty with transitions

Let me know... if not maybe I can create another lesson.
P's that my "G" chord
I love how he sounds like a child inside of a mans body
Thanks Julian... I think ;)
