Hey folks lets show JC some support for all of his hardwork on this series. I'm sure his travel to Vegas was out of pocket. I'm going to head to his website and buy something just to say "thanks".

Amazing technology for sure and at a price that most can't afford. I'm still a little baffled by the "hi-end" airgun thing. Most are fairly simple in design and use cheap materials. If I was going to spend 3K on a "gun" it would say Anschutz or Feinwerkbau on it. That's my 2 cents anyway. Main thing is JC you are a gentleman and a scholar for providing this series. I for one cannot thank you enough.

You almost need an engineer degree to grasp the technological advancement of that rifle. Appears to be pretty amazing, now we need to see it perform. 👍👍

Game changer! JC when are you getting one to review? This one your going to have to take to a full rifle range? Great interview JC

Like I always say, The tech stuff is great, but let's see it perform. I would love to get my hands on one and do some thorough testing! 👍👍

Do you think that the Skout Epoch will give the other high end air guns (FX guns and Daystate etc)a run for their money in the upcoming competitions?(RMAC & EBR etc.)????

@ $2,350 for the .30 and $2,400 for the .35 it has more bells and whistles, (plus the extra barrels) than the FX, SK, Air Force etc that have the same price point. It's a very impressive weapon to say the least. Ya gotta love a 22 round mag for the .30, an 18 round mag for a .357/9mm and 175 FPE is impressive.
    Max. velocity:
    1100 FPS (.177 cal)
    1093 FPS (.22 cal)
    1096 FPS (.25 cal)
    1093 FPS (.30 cal)
    988 FPS (.35 cal)
    Max. power:
    22.9 FPE (.177 cal)
    67.3 FPE (.22 cal)
    88.9 FPE (.25 cal)
    118.7 FPE (.30 cal)
    175.7 FPE (.35 cal)

Nothing short of amazing, and I usually go way down the rabbit hole in my hobbies. But.. I just don't know if I want this much technology in a gun. Yes, it's a remarkable piece of engineering, but I am incline to buy/use something with less Tech and more simple operation.
The M3 is about as deep as I want to go, with a huge precision factory full of Swedes behind it.
In the end....sub MOA is sub MOA and I'm sure both guns will do it.

    • @AirgunDetectives
      @AirgunDetectives  Рік тому

I want to see this perform...I think you need an advanced engineer degree just to operate this at it's full potential. 😉

@@AirgunDetectives If you do get your hands on one for a review, you are going to need a couple of assistants with large pads full of Notes to walk you through the firing proceedure. Much respect to Bill for his dedication and creation! He could scale this gun back to Half and still have a real winner.
