Hidden Inside This Nazi Belt Buckle Is A Deadly Weapon That’s Actually Quite Ingenious

    **************************************************************
Among the horrors and heroism of World War II, there were also some downright bizarre weapons. It seems that’s just what happens when the economies and imaginations of the world powers are forced to focus solely on creating offensive arsenals.
Indeed, some of the examples are pretty mind-boggling. There was the Nazi Sun Gun, which was a deadly serious plan to place a mirror in space to focus the light of the Sun and use it as a weapon. And there was the Krummlauf, which let soldiers fire around corners.

The problem is that in an alternative scenario where a more effective version of this belts was mass-produced, the knowledge about them would be widespread. So in a capture a prisoner-of-war situation, the american/russian soldier would adjust his behaviour accordingly. Perhaps even shoot the prisoner as a preemptive measure. So the irony is; the more widespread - the more self-defeating.

I would’ve just put a bomb in there to be honest. If I’m going out I’m taking a few with me.

I don't believe for one minute that they were poorly made. The SS would not have put up with substandard manufacturing or design. If there's any one thing the Germans and austrians are well known for was intricate Machining. Some of the pictures in this video look like cheap reproductions bogus pieces that were made in somebody's garage.
