Camera work .?.?
Nice vid John, but yes, camera work let in down a bit.
I purchased this gun a couple of weeks ago and wow worth every penny. You are so right about it. It is so easy to handle perfect for clay shooting. Thanks TGS!
Hi guys, I have a question reference this Gun, Once you cock the gun and put in both rounds, it resets both triggers my understanding, then you pick upper or lower barrel with safety selector switch, when I've played with this gun dry and NOT fired live, I've had to manually move the safety/Barrel selector to fire both actions, when I fire it live - Im guessing I can just 1. Select which barrel to fire first with selector switch, then fire. 2. The weapon will autocock and allow me to just pull the trigger a second time instead of manually selecting the second barrel?
I’d like to see a video about the Churchill 206. I’m interested in purchasing one here in the states branded as a CZ Swamp Magnum or Reaper Magnum.

Yes, what you are describing is how an inertia trigger works. It requires the recoil from the first round to reset the trigger where as a mechanical trigger resets itself between pulls so in a dry fore situation you'd be able to pull it twice
So, this begs the question, who's the king of the Turkish guns?
Also has 18.4 bore it loves 1 oz and 7/8 and recoil is a bit less cheers from USA
Absence of crap engraving. I do like plain actions.
The reason I bought my Altobelli (Silver Eagle here in the States) was it is clean and simple. Not a fan of gaudy laser etching.
@@teamflanneloutdoors5631 I am surprised they were not more common decades back. TBH I expect them to become the norm soon for factory guns. And more laminate stocks too.
Is there a barrel selector on the safety?
Can anyone confirm if this is the same model CZ sells in the USA as the "All-American?"
How would you rate this vs the Marocchi Evo? Both of the are quite common here in Norway, with the Marocchi being a tad more expensive (3-400£).
Thank you for all the great video reviews! Cheers!
Перчатки надень.
I have the grandfather to that gun mine was made in Italy nomenclature Churchill regent it’s identical except for fixed choke I did a trigger job on it, I take it out only in the winter and leave my Perrazzi comp1 home as its my good weather gun I’ve been shooting the Churchill since 1991 no regret
Hey John, could you maybe make a review on a Huglu HT-14 ? and thanks for the detailed videos you make, we get so much smarter
If it takes Winchester duck and pheasant loads to the max, good enough. Bam bam!!
the 206 gold is a great shotgun by them. you should look into that one!!
I don’t know the first thing about developing a video, but this one seems to be out of focus a lot. Is that meant to be stylish? I hope not because it’s a pain in the ass to watch. It is so distracting I missed the content.
Edgar brothers gave up? II think its the markup they put on everything look at Zoli!
In the two years since this video was made have they found a new UK importer..?
Anyone have any experience of the Akkar 206 in 410 bore?
I also wanted to say that these RRP in Australia for about $1300.00 or GBP 650.00. So why were Edgar Brothers charging so much? They would need to be proofed in the UK but that's like GBP50 each one. Oh, and the Australian one has ported barrels.
Welcome to the UK where we seem to get charged more than any other country for the same stuff!
I get that we have a few more taxes, but we also have the internet and can see how much more we have to pay than everyone else.
Boo!
Thanks for a exellent review!
Another awesome review Jonny keep them coming :) quick question do you know any manufacturers in italy that will allow factory tours. I'd love to go and see the production. Thanks
Most will if you are a customer and most will with prior appointment. Beretta, zoli Guerini , rizzini, perazzi and some others allow it
Frianchi instinct L with ejectors explained please!
Witch better this akkar trap or ATA trap?
What's the bluing like? The triple crown sees rain and it wants to rust.
you can overcome that with proper lube
@@pbgd3 I use green frog. Doesn't get more lube than that
@@mchughcb sort of. Its not about the lubricant if you are getting rust. For years we shot coastal ducks and I used a blued side by side, you just had to make sure to essentially wash off the salt and apply a barrier film to the metal works.
People getting rust on guns used in the rain are just not cleaning them well enough.
Akkar churchill shoots beautifully, however the stock takes on water like a sponge
Hand rub some tru oil on a few drops of TOil on a coffee filter/ no kidding and do a French polish technique, fantastic
Im looking at getting one.that or a huglu how would u compare the 2 shout out from Canada !
Akkar is far better than the huglu. Sit them side by side if you can and compare the quality
thoughts on the Akkar churchill side by side ?
I’m a bit late considering your comment is a year old, but I have a S/S Akkar Churchill, shot hundreds of rounds through it the past 5 years and its very nice. The wood is especially nice for a gun of it’s price tag.
