This procedure filmed, is intense. It is not bad during, but after machine stops, they i strap your waist & take the knee support away 😳 OMG! and that’s when you1st feel what just happened… real traction therapy. I needed assistance to sit-up & stand up, then had to put on a back brace for remainder of the day. It was painful the 1st day or 3 after because you were literally stretched and disc enlarged, so your body, muscles/ligaments/nerves etc have also been affected. It is beneficial but not a simple massage feel either. I couldn’t bend or sit for long periods after, took advil and applied hot compress to assist in the healing… because that’s what is taking place. It can be intense, as was mine. But day 4 was amazing. That was 2 years ago and i still recall the post pain/recuperation & then the result. ✌️

I didn't get a button to push to make the machine stop either. He strapped me up and walked out of the room to take care of other clients. It was digging into my abdomen so badly that it felt like my intestine was about to burst. A month later and I am still having abdominal pain. I think the machine bruised my intestine. I went in there with back pain and left with back pain and a bruised abdomen.

Pls answer me this question. You put the belt on pelvis, but my experience was that they put it on my bely and the belt was pushing my pelvis causing me anterior pelvic tilt. Is it true ?

Man I have been going to physical therapy for about a month now with minimal results. I honestly think I'm not in pain because I'm doing way less not working. If I do even 5 or 10 minutes of activity it just comes back. It's been over 3 months. Anyway, they put one of these on me last time. It is basically a wench the table slides so it can pull you forward. For me I'd say no. I think it depends how far gone you are. It's basically what the therapist said to me in so many words. She didn't think it would work for me but she wanted to try. I think if you have had multiple incidents with your back this will not work. It may make it worse. If this is your first bout with lower pain and if you have maybe a bulging disc this may work but if you have something like osteoarthritis, spurs, DDD you may have to literally spend a year or more strengthening your stomach, legs, and glutes. I wish you the best sir. I'd say go for it though if you haven't had a ton of back problems. I kinda think this is probably better for more of a distressed spine or exhaustion of muscles tightening the spine. Not sure if it helps with injury
