Before you buy an Acorn outdoor stair lift, talk to some of us who own one. Mine is about 4 years old, has broken 3 times, and is in fact, broken now. Very expensive to fix.
@SeniorStairlifts It is located under a roof overhang and does not generally get snowed or rained on. I use it regularly, at least once a day. It just decides to stop and not move up or down. The company repair person said it was leaves preventing movement, they were cleaned out and kept clean, then the batteries went dead, now it moves a foot or two on the track and stops. It costs over two hundred dollars for them to look at the lift, and who knows how much parts will be. This was one of the best things I did for myself and definitely one of the worst.
