Im always so confused if this is "within kayfabe" or no lol so many of these i feel like those who do them do such a good job protecting the other that they aren't bad
100% agree with this, a lot of the brutal looking strikes are really well protected, I would definitely trust Shawn not to take my head off. The timings on things like the punt kick though, when you've got less space to move, not something I would want to take. The 619 is something else where you need to get yourself out of an awkward position into a sell without seeing it coming, far more room for error with that. Oh and Goldberg did just genuinely tackle people with his spear so that would be more brutal than the other strikes (even though Rhyno's Gore looked better it was so much safer). The submissions are legit and could be brutal but that's only if they're applied fully, and you know if someone is being held for more than 3 or 4 seconds in a submission hold without tapping or something being dislocated that it is being applied for the camera. As someone who has practised and taught Judo I would say being held in position for one without being fully applied for demonstration purposes that it is still not comfortable though. The Coup De Grace however, whilst he does it safely there is no way that could not hurt. Side note multiple wrestlers have talked about how much they dislike the big swing. I guess a general rule of thumb is though if someone is landing on you there will be some degree of pain, if you are falling from a great height it will not be comfortable. But falls hurt more than being guided and supported. If any of these moves were too brutal they wouldn't be doing them because no one would agree to take them on the regular, and a lot of the most brutal looking moves are probably the safest.
It's always their job to protect their opponents. However, that doesn't mean people don't get hurt. The characters are kayfabe. The damage is very real.
@MrsWellner yes of course. I'm talking about who he listed doing each move. Many of them are notorious for being great at protecting their opponents. Accidents happen for sure, but generally speaking those listed do good jobs of making most of these moves not really hurt that much
I’m going to comment this on my other channel, you should definitely do a part two of this but feature more indie finishing moves (indie is what I’m calling everything outside of WWE for convenience sake). Also I would love to see one ranking Tag Team moves. Also I would love to see both you and John appear on Partsfunknown Survival Series.
Like I said I'm commenting under a different channel. You should definetly do a part 2 of this, but please include more indie finishing moves. (indie in this case is what I'm calling everything outside of WWE for convenience sake.) I would also love if you did one ranking tag team moves. Also I would love if you and John appeared on Partsfunknown and their awesome trivia show Survival Series.
Anytime you're getting dropped on your back, the air is literally being knocked out of you. It's not permanently damaging you, but I am sure it's still uncomfortable.
Roman doesnt have the most brutal spear but still the Best looking imo. Brons looks weird sometimes when he suddenly stops before making contact with opponents
I feel like an F5 wouldn't be painful at all, you have so much time and ways to protect your face that it's not even scary. Brock is making it look painful but just look at how the guys are making contact with the canvas, half the time they land on their side. I'd take a dozen of those F5 any day, over pretty much any other finishers
Huge difference between the original pedigree keeping the arms locked and the newer and safer pedigree you see nowadays in the ring where they let go of your arms allowing you to catch yourself
How is the tombstone piledriver in the brutal section? Its protected in the same way as the pedigree, the knees take all the force. If anything, its safer than pedigree. Pretty terrible list overall, having AA as anything more than I can take it, is laughable.
I had a guy jump on my back in a fight once and I just kinda did a samoan drop with my body also landing on his chest. All the air left his lungs for a second as he lay there gasping. I got in a few punches in on his face before they pulled me off 😂 i know that shid hurt tho. Also, powerbombs are the worst most painful imo. I've done it and taken it.

@CynicalRhys for sure. Like hell, I'd never wanna take ANYTHING from Goldberg. But I've heard Brock does a GREAT job of taking care of people.

@@TheMingledorff agreed.
You’ve been a fan since the mid-2000s or whatever and said “5-star knuckle shuffle”😂
Edge's spear is a running hug
😂

I agree with your rankings for sure, I think the move I’d hate to take the most would be Bronson Reed’s Tsunami or Malakai’s Black Mass
I think Cena changed the STF from a chokehold to a crossface because he was actually choking them out

Big E's Big Ending looks like it hurts him rather than the opponent
The set up for the 619 has killed someone before
Was expecting Randys punt to the skull.
Attitude Adjustment is my favorite finisher. STF is my second favorite finisher. 5 Knuckle Shuffle is my favorite signature
Hello John Cena
curb stomp is probably the most brutal one here
7:05 trouble in paradise* ❤
Good catch! 🤣
Punt kick oh my 😂😂 Randy orton 09 different
You do realize cena accidentally choked out Umaga with the stf 😂
When taking the styles clash you don’t tuck you chin you’re actually supposed to look up
you said the opposite of what you have to do tuccking your chin is bringing your head down low you gotta extend your neck for the styles clash...
100% that’s what I meant lol
The 619 has actually killed someone
I know Maven said that the chokeslam was painful.
But also mentioned that the F5 had no pain whatsoever
what do think think about the oba femmi F-20

Just noticed you're using a lavalier mic. Why aren't you using them on the Stache Club?
Roman doesnt have the most brutal spear but still the Best looking imo. Brons looks weird sometimes when he suddenly stops before making contact with opponents
AA hurt more than F5
LMAO no, its the weakest move of all
@peeturpain9379 Only kids would say that lmao AA is used in wrestling, Judo and sanda but I don't see nobody use F5 in these martial arts
@ we re talking john cena's wwe move, dumbass
Kofi‘s trouble in paradise aint the same as the sos bro

Five knuckle shuffle
Funny enough my best friend knocked out my cousins tooth when we were younger with the pedigree

Pedigree can hurt too
Tombstone Piledriver is a junk Taker Fans 😂

The Samoan Drop always hurts. That and the Power Bomb are two of my least favorite bumps to take.
Hulk is crazy I don’t like him but a 300 lbs going to your throat.
I think the pedigree and AA are in the same tier. Cena goes easy on that move most times
Good evening good morning good afternoon ❤
The Sharpshooter hurts because when I was a kid I would use that move when me and my friends wrestled
Where SCW been? Did i miss something? lol
We’ve been under the weather, but we’ll be back next week!
