with Carr at QB, Davante was voted to the All Pro Team, Pro Bowl, and lead all WR's in TD's that season. After Carr was bounced, Davante stats were the worst since his rookie year and of course no Pro Bowl or All-Pro selections. It's funny, the drop off in production that Davante had last year is what NFL analysts expected to happen when he left Rodgers to play with Carr...it shows you that Davante is slightly wrong about "QB's don't make me", and that he does need at minimum a QB like Carr for him to be consistent at a All-Pro level.

That will never happen. Why would the Raiders pay big money for a woulda/coulda/shoulda guy? Paying top dollar to your QB restricts everyone else on the roster. Dak has had some top talent with him, thus the good stats and winning record but he can't win the big game. Much smarter to roll with a young, high-ceiling guy like O'Connell. If he can make a jump up, Raiders have the weapons to be lethal. I know, he hasn't done it yet.
