    really helpful, thanks man. If anyone wants to know I run the same setup but with the AIO on the back of the case, and I average 80*C, so the Corsair H60 is a very good, little cooler.

      Hello, I'm thinking of buying this cooler because my Case is a micro atx unfortunately that only supports 120mm coolers. So would you guys recommend it with a Biostar B550MH motherboards? Excuse my still begginerness at this.
      And thanks for the video Sr.

      I've not had much experience with biostar and personally I would purchase a more established brand like msi, gigabyte, asus etc.
      Support and quality is important with motherboards.
      Have a look at "Hardware unboxed" as i believe they have looked at a good few b550 boards.

    Great video. I'm surprised that cooler would keep the cpu that cool. (Did you the cooler fan speeds..?) And was it noisy..? I've the 3900x and the nh-u12a so I'm curious. Great case set up for this video - looks nice.
    A video about the voltage adjustments wouldn't hurt anyone...🥃

      Hi. I always set the fans, cooler and system, to be as quiet as possible. I usually set a steep curve towards higher temps. So, for gaming and usual pc stuff the pc remains comfortably quiet.
      Loud PC's are badly put together PC's. IMO.

    Thank you for running the test. I plan to run a 5900x with a 120mm aio, do you think it can handle it? How are the noise levels when just using the computer normally?

    Hello, I want to get this h60, but my question is since my motherboard doesn't have a pump header, can I connect the pump 3 pin to a sata adapter directly to the psu?, Will it work? What about the performance of the aio, any difference or will work the same?

    I would like to see it gaming i have a tinker itx build and since I upgraded from a 3900x to a 5950x in my main rig im gonna take the 3600 out of the itx build and put the 3900x in. I only have a 150mm height limit so i was debating on a 92mm air cooler probably noctua nh-u9s or even the cheaper cryorig cr-m9pa. But I could also use a 120mm aio and i will probably run it at 4ghz with an undervolt. I had it running 4.5ghz on a 360mm aio, but I’m wondering if it will even be worth it because i have the 3600 running at 4.2ghz on a wraith prism cooler and it works fine and i like the way it looks. Also debating on taking out the reference 5700xt and putting in a radeon vii.

    Hi. Thanks for the video. It’s helping me decide which cooler I am keeping. I have purchased both the 120 and the 240 and am trying to cool the 12900k. I was wondering compared to this Ryden 9 would the single 120 be enough for me. I have similar Cade setup as yours and would like to keep the bottom front fan for some cool air intake. That’s why I was leaning more towards keeping the single 120 mounted in the front top like yours. What do you think? Also, would it be better to place the radiator in the front and the fan pulling air in behind it or like yours with the radiator in fan in front pulling through the radiator. Thanks in advance.

    • @ricco123tube
      @ricco123tube  2 роки тому

      12900k needs beefy cooling to get the best from it.
      240 would be the minimum you would need to get the benefits of that CPU. If you have splashed out on that CPU and I would assume a very good motherboard too, then you definitely do not want to save money on a CPU cooler.

      @@ricco123tube yes thank you. I got the ASUS Prime Z690-A LGA and the ASUS Prime Z690-P D4. I had to get the d4 because I can’t find the ddr5 memory. I also got both coolers because I want the best performance. My only restriction is my case. I don’t want to change it out. It’s a NZXT S340 Elite so similar to yours. I don’t have a lot of room in the top but do in the front for the 240. Just worried about my only intake being warmed by the radiator. That’s why I was thinking of the one on top front with an fresh air intake on bottom front. Just worried about the heat from the 12900k. Will be building it on Tuesday.

      Depends mostly on what you use your PC for. Just gaming and rarely will your cpu be running at full speed, so maybe invest in a better GPU. If you are rendering etc and the cpu is gonna be maxed, then get a premium performance cooler.
      5900x will be warm but not as ridiculous as team blue.

  • @paulorodrigoliveira
    @paulorodrigoliveira 3 роки тому

    No man, you are doing this very wrong! There is something about assembling and maintaining computers called airflow, you have to respect that!
    In your assembly did you take an extra fan and put it next to the original h60 fan pulling the air that comes from the front of your pc? Do you understand that this air will pass through the radiator that is hot and get that hot air into your pc? It makes no sense. The radiator must always be either at the top or at the rear. That's because all the cold air will pass FIRST through the motherboard and video card and lastly it will pass through the radiator and that the hot air out.
    Think about what to do. ^^

    • @ricco123tube
      @ricco123tube  3 роки тому

      No!
      You are incorrect for assuming what my requirements are.
      I want the coldest air going through the radiator to keep the cpu boosting as high as possible. I do not want warm air from within the case being drawn through the radiator and essentially reducing the Ryzen cpu boost frequency.
      I have already tested this and the difference was about 3-5c and 100-200mhz lower boost.
      The gpu and vrm in this configuration in this system remain very cool and quiet.

    • @paulorodrigoliveira
      @paulorodrigoliveira 3 роки тому

      @@ricco123tube Yes friend, I am not saying that you will not cool your CPU by doing this anymore, but keep in mind that by doing what you are doing, you will circulate the hot air that has already passed through the radiator, to all your pc parts, motherboard, memory, VIDEO CARD, etc. That is, if you overheat your CPU by overclocking / testing, or even playing games, you can damage your other parts by stressing them, making them cool with hot winds coming from the radiator. Think about it, motherboards and raw memories can also burn that way!
      If you take other large computer assembly and maintenance companies as an example, no one puts the processor radiator in front, because of that. ^^

    • @ricco123tube
      @ricco123tube  3 роки тому +1

      I disagree.
      I have already tested various configurations and this works best for my setup.
      The vrm temp is cool even with a 3900x at full load, and the gpu is also cool and quiet.
      I have built many PCs this year and maybe 100 in the last decade, and I have a good idea of what works well with different hardware.
